  3. Dangerous bus stops with little kids crossing busy roads. The eibishter is watching us but we cant put our precious kids in sakana with unsafe stops and drivers in a rush to pick up the next route. Did the LSTA issue any statement about what happened.

    1. How did the LSTA react or did they do the usual cover up job?

    2. It's ridiculous that busses stop on county line. It's a 4 lane highway, so dangerous cars going 50 have to short stop.

  6. If the buses act like taxis - stopping at every house ( sometimes 5 houses next to each other) then yes, people get antsy. But if parents would take the kids to a bus stop on the corner it would be more bearable.
But our noisome tzidkoonios have babies, and infants, can’t get up on time, can’t get dressed up to go to the bus stop, can’t get off the phone quick enough ( it’s a very VERY important call), can’t manage because there is no husband ( he’s in BM fartoogs) so the bus becomes a taxi service by default and may have to wait at each home a extra 45 to 60 seconds. That’s a long time if your doing this 30 or 40 times per route.
But Talmid Toireh is important for the nooshim too that’s their ticket to paradise !!!

    2. Excuse me! I take my (11 year old) son to the bus stop every morning. I live on an intersection but LSTA gave me a stop a block away! Last year my son came home and got dropped off 2 blocks away on a dangerous street which he needed to cross, and the bus driver would drop him and ZOOM OFF WITHOUT WAITING FOR HIM TO CROSS THE STREET! When I called LSTA they yelled at me that I was s liar and only looked at the video footage of the bus when I threatened to come down and do it with them... 15 minutes later they called me to apologize!

    3. What a disgusting sick rant from you. Shame on you!!!
Do you work for the companies or the consortium.
You shame mothers and fathers who care about the safety of their children. The parents are not mapping the routes or making the bus stops some of them very dangerous. The parents are not the greedy ones compromising safety not the ones rushing the drivers to make another run. The traffic is due to many other reasons not because of pick ups.

    5. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried calling the LSTA but IF you finally get through they are impossible to deal with. We have 11 kids who live by an intersection but have to walk to a further stop. We’ve all tried calling LSTA, the school has tried calling LSTA to change the stop but nothing has been done even though we were all promised that the stop would be changed right after Succos.

    6. How about when 2 brothers got different stops for the same bus route at the same time?!?!

  7. Thr LSTA is controlled by a few big mosdos everyone else can jump on the lake. They take advantage of the olam because they can.
They took $150 for last year and did not reimburse for the months of no transportation.
