ReplyDeleteWhat’s this new thing with Selichos before Chaztos?? If you look into it it’s very not pashut, some say not to even answer 13 Middos if you happen to be there
ReplyDeleteFor some people it's better before chatzos than not saying altogether.
DeleteIf the choice is saying at 10 or not saying at all, it's better to say at 10.
DeleteMaybe but many people just do it for convenience
DeleteAl pi Kabbalah it’s actually better not to say and even in Halacha it’s a very very big bdieved. We understand Lakewood is huge and everyone can do what they want but the rabbanim and poskim in town should do their part and let people know tht it’s not so simple. They let me know what they feel about everything else. at least do something when it’s actual Halacha which many people are not aware of and will benefit from hearing
DeleteAS the noda beyehuda said, we are not to delve in nistaros and to stick to halacha. As far as halacha is concerned, according to majority of poskim, while not preferred, there is nothing wrong. Anyone doing it knows it's bedieved, but unfortunately many of us are doing the best we can. Many either can't get up early enough, or need to be at work too early. Stop judging and selectively quoting zohar's that you know nothing about.
DeletePeople don’t know how bdieved it is. They only think it’s not the end of the world since everyone does it and that’s why the Rabbis should at least publicize HALACHA and then let people decide. And btw how do you know what I know about Zohar. Besides it’s the Kisvei Ari that says it even stronger
DeleteAccording to halacha it's not the end of the world. I have ruach hakodesh, so I know what you do and don't know. There are many things that people do that are ok l'halacha but should be avoided according to the Ari, yet we don't make a big deal of it. A current example would be a avel davening for the amud for selichos. While al pi nistar it should be avoided, R Yaakov Kamenetzky has a tshuva about it being ok l'halacha and not to worry about the nistar. The masses need to follow halacha you can choose how much nistar you want. Had you been a true baki in these inyanim you would know that already.
DeleteWell my father has more Ruach Hakodesh than you and your father but you keep on ignoring the point and just showing how little nistar and nigleh you know. The point is the rabbis tell me about problems about potato chips, orange juice and a lot of other things that are only possibly a problem after you string together three chumros no one holds of but are silent about a clear Halacha about when to say selichos
DeleteNot a clear Halacha, that's the point. And if you know any nistar like you claim, then you would know that eating something that can be treife does way more damage to the soul than saying selichos before chatzos, and therefore the Rabbanim rightfully speak out about it.
DeleteWhat are you talking about. Forget the nistar which is obviously hidden from you and forget your ignorance about kashrut. Selichos at night is a clear Halacha and unlesss they’re busy making their Shul’s socially distant the rabbis should at least speak up about selichos before it’s too late
DeletePlease reference the Tshuvos from R' Shloima Zalmen who says that although for many years he spoke out against early selichos, he has charata. He says it was frequently done in Poland and many great Rabbanim of the time were ok with it.
DeleteI think you should make it your life's mission to tell people not to remove tefillin during Kaddish after Oleinu as is clearly brought in Shulchan Aruch.
The the wonderful store owners that are accepting gift cards.
ReplyDeletePlease please please, give all of your worker's the proper training to process the cards. This will greatly limit the embarrassment of those who need to use them.
