CharQ Restaurant Opening In Lakewood

We learnt about smaller chasunas. Is that not enough. Do we need to remove all sources of pleasure in our lives?
There is a difference between luxury weddings where the Rabbanim feel everyone is pressured to follow along and copy. Going to a fancy restaurant is not putting pressure on others.
This is trying to be a Torah town!
ReplyDeleteBH Lakewood has evolved. Years ago such a fress place wouldn't be tolerated. If we can charge non yeshivish tuition, we can have these luxuries too.
ReplyDeleteIf most people would agree to pay non yedhivishe tuitions then there wouldn't be a lack of schools .
