- The US said it would consider revoking its recent designation of Yemen’s Houthis as terrorists if the Iran-backed militants cease their shipping attacks in and around the Red Sea.(Bloomberg)

- Heavy fighting in Eastern Iran after the Balochi separatists in Jaish al-Adl attacked police stations and IRGC weapon depots near the border with Pakistan.

Jaish al-Adl claims to have killed dozens so far in the attack


- Chuck Schumer tweets inbresponse to Benny Gantz call for new elections: "When a leading member of Israel’s war cabinet calls for early elections and over 70% of the Israeli population agrees according to a major poll, you know it’s the right thing to do."

- Iran Supreme leader khamenei: "This year’s QudsDay will be an international outcry against the usurping Zionist regime" which is this coming Friday last day of Ramadan

- Authorities in Central Isral Gush Dan area are weighing opening the public bomb shelters due to the current security situation 

-The CIA is reported to have warned Israel that Iran is likely to retaliate for Israel’s dramatic strike on Iranian military targets in central Damascus

-IDF spokesperson: In anticipation of an Iranian threat as part of a situation assessment carried out by the IDF, it was decided to consolidate and recruit reservists for the air defense system.

-Israel at Peak vigilance following the Iranian threats: assessments in the security establishment that Iran will respond to the attack on the consulate through its proxy organizations - in addition, the response times in the Air Force were shortened and all Israeli embassies around the world were put on standby alert notice.

- US promised Egypt: No Rafah op before mid-May Reports say Israel promised not to conduct Rafah ground operation before May, Egypt has received "US guarantees" that Israel will not conduct any sort of ground operation in Rafah before mid-May, at the earliest. According ot the Egyptian sources, this promise will remain valid even if efforts to reach a prisoner swap deal fail.

-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden are set to speak tomorrow, according to a Israeli media reports on Wednesday, citing a diplomatic source. The last time the two leaders spoke on March 18.  

-A senior Hamas military intelligence officer in an ISA interrogation: "Units of the military intelligence operated from Shifa Hospital. The Interior Ministry, the Emergency Committees and the government of Hamas also worked from there. It's a safe place

-Hamas is sticking to its original ceasefire and hostage negotiations demands that Israel must halt all military operations in Gaza, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who is abroad, said in a speech.

-Benny Gantz calls for elections in September, citing the need to “maintain unity” and “renew trust” in the government. “We must agree on a date for elections in September, about a year from the war,” Gantz says in a televised briefing.

-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party rejects War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz’s call for an election in September, saying the government will remain in place “until all the goals of the war are achieved.” “At this fateful moment for the State of Israel and in the midst of a war, Benny Gantz must stop engaging in petty politics just because his party is disintegrating.

- IDF troops are continuing to battle Hamas in southern Gaza's Khan Younis, the military says in a morning update. The IDF  located weapons in Khan Younis, while the Air Force and combat engineers destroyed Hamas infrastructure, including weapon depots in the same area.

  2. It is wonderful to call for new elections but there is a process. Until the government fails due to a no confidence vote there will not be new elections. As Rav Moishe Hill Shlita said no big riots or tumult from the latest gayus as it is all about making new elections and we dont want it or need it. This is the US and the left pushing 'all the buttons' to get Netanyau right wing coalition to fail.
