- The IDF announced today that it concluded the active invasion stage of the war in Gaza for now while leaving open the possibility of a future new invasion of Rafah.

Although a top IDF official said that this change had nothing to do with US pressure, the timing was unmistakable in coming right after the IDF’s disastrous mistaken killing of seven humanitarian aid workers last week. (Jpost)

- Gaza Ground war coming to an end?
 The Israel Defense Forces withdrew all of its maneuvering ground forces from the Gaza Strip early Sunday morning, leaving just one brigade to secure a corridor splitting the Palestinian enclave. Troops of the 98th Division were pulled out of the Khan Younis area after four straight months of fighting, the IDF said.
Only one brigade, Nahal, remains in the Gaza Strip. The Nahal Brigade has been tasked with securing the so-called Netzarim Corridor, which crosses Gaza from the Be’eri area in southern Israel to the Strip’s coast.

-A terror shooting attack today on Route 55 in the Shomron on Sunday morning, leaving two injured after a terrorist opened fire at a bus and cars near Karnei Shomron. A 19-year-old female IDF soldier  on the bus was very seriously injured. A man in his 40s who was driving a private car was moderately injured.

- Netanyahu marks 6 months of war
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu marks six months since the October 7 massacre, vowing that Israel will achieve complete victory over Hamas and calling for unity among Israel’s citizens.
“I made it clear to the international community: There will be no ceasefire without the return of the hostages. It just won’t happen,” Netanyahu says. “This is the Israeli government’s policy, and I welcome the fact that the Biden administration made it clear the other day that this is still its position as well.”

  1. Missing the timing is simply willful head-in-the-sand syndrome.

    At precisely when the government declared an active war on the learning of Torah is exactly when they war forced to surrender to the enemies.

    It is clear that even 100 million IDF wouldn't help them us in our current situation. Only miracles and zechusim.
