  7. FYI, a grammar lesson. People confuse the usage of the words "at" and "by." That's because in Yiddish, when we want to say "at", the Yiddish word is "By." But in English, it's incorrect, and sounds so unprofessional to say, for example, Satmar Flysh by the row. It should be "at the row." Same with all the other incorrect uses of the word "by."

    2. Just because you sound sophisticated, it does not make you grammatically correct. A simple google search will indicate that at and by are commonly confused by those that don't speak any Yiddish. At is a specific location, and by is near something. In the case of Satmar is at/by the Row, they are both technically correct as the row is a location that contains multiple sub locations. As for sounding "professional", that is meaningless to most frum yidden, we have no reason to strive to be "professional". In fact, anyone navigating the "professional" world knows how unprofessional it has become. Just look at how our great leader of the world speaks, as well as the leaders of many conglomerates.

    3. The last sentence would prove little. Shall we also lower then our religious standards, because what roguish others are now up to? Nevertheless, "at" isincapable of conveying a flavoring that "by" can connotate. Term it a poetic license yiddishism

  9. Why do rebbeim and yungeleit get so many free and discounted stuff while there is nothing available to the middle class who in many cases are struggling more than the rebbeim and yungeleit? Is the goal to help those in need or just to put the rebbeim and yungeleit on a pedestal?

  10. It's inappropriate to ask if every answer is going to be insufficient

  11. Why can’t yidden fargin other yidden?

  12. Who’s not farginning? Everyone fargins. The question was why there is no help for those that need it most if we’re out to help those that need.

  13. I don't understand your problem . Why don't you work with gvurim and collect and make such a program of handouts for who ever you want? The organizers of the Rebeim program have limited funds and can't service everybody. Why don't you make a more broad program that also services regular bale batim. Don't complain ,just be a doer .

  14. The point is the rebbeim need it least so why are these “askanim” wasting their time on them?
