  1. A dvar Torah for Naso

Why is the Sotah rewarded if she didnt actually commit niuf? Hadn't she brought the embarrassment on herself by ignoring her husbands kinui?

  2. What's the difference in price for legal cannabis?

    1. Anything bought on the black market is cheaper than anything bought legally. I don’t know the prices of legal v illegal marijuana but the fact that there are people selling it illegally means it’s a lot cheaper to buy it illegally.

    2. What a disgusting comment. This term needs to be eradicated from our vocabulary. This comes from a community that is into kiruv and will accept a baal teshuva but a person with a different hat from you gets called names?

    1. The tickets given out for Bachurim & Yungeleit are not transferable and must be returned if not being used.

    2. There are hundreds of tickets available that gevirim were given to give it out. The organizers should stop playing shtick and allow the hamon am to participate

    3. Half the olam here is happy not to go, the other half is complaining there aren't enough tickets.
      Huh?

  5. Can anybody explain what's up with these Chassidish choirs? Why do they need to be present at a Litvishe event?

    1. Because there are no litvishe choirs.

    2. They're very good. We like them.

    3. In Lakewood Yeshiva, the voice is the oldest son of the Rosh Yeshiva Reb Dovid. Why doesn't he sing at the event?

  6. I know a Talmid Chacham who would really like to bring his sons to the Adirei HaTorah event.
If anyone purchased tickets and is not using them anyway & is willing to help this person, please text 732-806-5574.
    Thank you & Tizku L'Mitzvos!

  9. Can somebody figure out why we are having 2 choirs and music in the Shiva week for a Gadol Hador and while the Gadol who was brought to speak at the event is slso sitting Shiva r"l. I can understand if it was a chasunah then we don't punish the chosen kallah, but just to have huge choirs and music at a chizuk for Torah event sounds a bit off. But I guess I am not Daas Torah so I don't understand the need for these things

    1. I figured it out - you never wanted the event - you have no idea why they need an event in the first place, it’s bittul Torah etc..

    2. Other than being cynical ,you didn't answer his very legitimate question . It is not a chasunah. It would have been very appropriate to state that due to the Aveilus that the Olom Hatoirah finds itself in , there will be no music at the maamad chizuk hatorah . I think most serious people would have appreciated that .

    3. It’s definitely a lack of sensitively to the Gedolim in Eretz Yisroel. Perhaps here in America we feel so distant from the plight of our brethren in Eretz Yisroel to change venues because of it. Chaval.

    4. In Eretz Yisroel, when Rav Shteinman was niftar, Yeshivos canceled or toned down Chanuka Mesibos, which are Seudos Mitzvah. Kal Sheken this event.

    5. Nobody is talking about changing venues. Just not having music and choirs. That's really not too much to ask .

  10. Because this whole litvish chasidish baby talk should stay in pre1A. Btw litvaks don't come from Lita and not all people with a so called chasidishe havoro are chasidim.
It's time to cut out the stupid stereotype garbage which we picked up from the umos haolam. It's time to grow immature kinderlach!

  12. How come we don't hear anything about the reception. Is it going to be all the Torah warriors pushing and shoving like last time for some scraps of BMG food handed out by the Mexicans, or will it be better food, and more organized, and enough to go around??

    1. That sounds like a racist comment against Mexicans, but then again, I don't have Daas Torah so who am I to comment on these things.
