- Tax increase for Lakewood homeowners typical new duplex to go up $560. Lakewood's Township Committee this past year granted short and long-term tax abatements to 36 new commercial buildings around town. These tax cuts have resulted in a loss of over $5.77 million in tax revenue for this past year alone. To make up for this lost revenue, the Township Committee is now planning on increasing our property taxes for the coming year by over $3 million. A typical new duplex will see a $560 increase to their total annual property tax bill. Had all these properties been assessed their full taxable value, our taxes would have actually decreased. Instead, our taxes are increasing to make up for the lost revenue. Soutce FAA

He also said this “hardens” his administration’s efforts to battle climate change, which experts say is contributing to more extreme weather events. “Climate change is here,” Murphy said. “Unfortunately, this is our new reality.”

    1. boruch hashem, there's no reason for any girl to go to college today. offices in lakewood offer very nice salaries for post-seminary girls with no experience or college education needed.

  5. So if the mashgiach is against women going to college. Who should support the husbands learning? Is the mashgiach in favor of boys (even not top) asking the shver for $2,000 a month for seven years? even when the family has a few girls to marry off. Or is the mashgiach very in favor of most boys just being responsible and learning with whatever the shver gives and wife working for a good few years? I heard the mashgiach is very in favor of not making demands to the girls family.
