On agenda votes to give raises for MUA members, after raising water rates by 15% vote to give free healthcare to members after retirement, salary raises across the board with new paid positions.

Ordinance 2022-01 (tripling the MUA commissioner salaries) had its second reading moments ago. It was moved by Miller (husband of Yocheved) and seconded by Lichtenstein. It was then approved by all 5 members on the Committee.
ReplyDeleteSeveral emails were sent in explaining why the ordinance should not be approved. Nobody from the public expressed support. But the committeemen ignored everyone and approved the new Ordinance anyway.
