  2. on the recording of Rav Moshe Meiselman he confirms at minute 22 that CW was the head of the organization in bnei brak that evaluated all claims of abuse.... you can't make this stuff up!

    1. He didnt confirm it at all he repeated what heard or read online but CW was not the head of it.

    2. Rabbi meiselman lives there and has many connections to easily ascertain what he says that CW was the head of the organization in bnei brak that evaluated all claims of abuse. he seems honest and knowledgeable.
how do you know CW was not the head of it ??

    3. What would be so surprising if he was?

Why shouldn't he have been at the time the allegations about him were unknown? There is plenty in his books about children keeping themselves safe from such behavior.

    4. The FACT is that he was not in charge of the organization it was a internet rumor. R Meiselman does not live in bnei brak.

    5. Rabbi Meiselman does live in Israel, and is very well connected and he discussed this topic with many people as he says in his speech.
I'm sure he didn't say that based on any internet rumors.
I'm sure he researched everything before he said it, he is a very careful person.

    2. the first 5 minutes of the shiur all but addressed that issue, when he was saying that the netziv said there are two type of gedolim (like the netziv and his son in law r. shapiro) --some are just mudbak b'Hashem and have no part in olam hazeh (i.e., his 2d great grandfather R. shapiro reputed that he wouldn't know the currency), and some use their Torah to be oseik betzibur.... and he later implied that we don't know what R. Gershon knew and what everyone really saying cuz the jewish (incl charedi) press and media are not the CC or Brisker Rav and have agendas.... he also said that when he had a certain question, he asked a psych and not his Rebbe......

  4. I would have to look into the halachos, but mikufya, it seems that some hold that you would need actual eidim (See Bais Shlomo, Choshen Mishpat 2). Furthermore, even according to the Rambam, you need BOTH raglayim ledavar and kala diloi pasak. Also, NOT EVERY BAIS DIN has the right to improvise and issue punishments without two eidim; rather it must include a Gadol Hador or Zayin Tovei Hair (Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat, siman 2).

    3. Not a punishment of beis din that is relevant to the shulchan aruch you bring.

    4. It was this Shulchan Aruch (which is a codification of the halacha mentioned in the Rambam) that Rav Meiselman was relying on.

  9. Rabbi Meislelaman says that CW's books dont mention a word about the ribono shel olam. I just perused kids speak 6 and 12, both mention the ribono shel olam more than once, and focus on midos tovos, bein adam lachavero, and chavivas hamitzvos.

    1. What they did not say is perhaps CW was a victim of his own illness chazal say kol yisrael yesh lahen chelek lolam haba why is that not applicable in this case since when do we see such a reaction. This prosecution in absentia without rachamim is a very foreign concept. This is all influenced by woke culture

    2. He is more like Reb Refoel Volozhiner, who was not aware of what is around him

    3. I agree, it seems that that the speech is מזויף מתוכו

    4. He said 15 of his books don't mention Hashem. He wrote many others.

  10. Rav Meissleman does mention Dayonim, But he was clearly misinformed. There never was a yishuv Beis Din. He talks about Beis Din cross examining both sides. But the two “Dayanim” he mentions said themselves they never cross examined.

He also says 22 women testified in Beis Din, while the “Dayanim” also said it was not 22 people. It was a few people who came on behalf of 22 people. All was eid mipi eid.

He says the women went to the media, while it was the dayan before the Yishuv Beis Din.

His comparison between the one case when he was accused to CW is beyond ridiculous.

And being mevazeh a rasha's mother because of the way she raised him, is no comparison to being mevazeh his almanah or yesomim.

The Rambam he reads also says if the rumored person had enemies, the rumors are not valid. He uses that logic to exonerate himself. Howver, CW had many more enemies for many years.

THE REAL ISSUE in this speech:
He is coming to brush away and knock down Reb Gershon shlita. In a general way. He starts off by hinting Reb Gershon, or Reb Chaim for that matter, are the types of Gedolim that don’t understand K’lal Inyanim.

He speaks very harshly against the opinion of Reb Gershon. And he knows who he is speaking against.

(The mayor of Bnei Brak claims Reb Chaim told him to be maspid, and it’s a mitzva to do so. So this speech is against Reb Chaim too.)

This type of hashkafah is completely against the mehalech K’lal Yisroel has been guided with for generations. Completely against the mehalech of all of the Gedolim in the Yeshiva world.
