- A formal Hearing to approve the Lakewood waste transfer station of 300 tons daily at the DPW will take place today at Ocean county commissioners meeting and not in Lakewood. The county is set to authorize it per the meeting agenda . The Meeting will take place today wed Jan 19 at Commissioner Board Meeting Room #119 First Floor of the Administration Building 101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River at 4:00 pm. This is the only chance for the public to attend and voice concerns. The approval will not be up for discussion as it is included in the resolutions see agenda Here. Resolution #15.

DeleteMost people have no time or interest to sign any petition even if it would be to reduce traffic or construction in this town you wouldn't have more than 900 signatures
