  1. I guess the township does not value the opinion of it's residents as hundreds of neighbors signed against the waste station.

    1. They could care less disgusting if them.
Cedarbridge mall area will stink to high heavens during the summer months just like Staten Island. shoppers will run away

    2. There are lots of things that stink about the way this Committee conducts its business. Just last week, they voted on the very first 2 ordinances of the year to triple their MUA salaries and give themselves free lifetime top tier health insurance (even after we retire them).

Interestingly, the MUA is next door to the proposed waste station. So, in case they fall ill from the toxic stench, the health insurance they gifted themselves will take care of the doctors bills.

    3. The raise in salary was unethical. But the fact is the woods and many other areas there were built in an industrial zone. The town can build what they want where they want. Next time don't let builders build in zones that are not meant for homes.

    4. The fact that they voted to raise their salaries at the same meeting they votes to raise our water rates is hard to understand. also the fact that so many township members or their spouses serve on it is NOT OK! Township members should serve as caring role models for our community.

  3. people should realize that while rare, covid can cause children to be hospitalized. this can happen in Lakewood also! that is why doctors are recommending children to be vaccinated.
pediatric wards in hospitals across the USA and Israel are caring for children with covid, some in critical condition. this can be easily verified by a simple Google search across many news organizations
websites. it is rare, but it happens to let's say one in every 50,000 children, and when it happens it's not a joke !
I heard that both Lakewood children currently in the ICU who we are all saying tehillim for, had covid.
one had a heart attack and tested positive for covid on arrival at the hospital.
the other had the flu and covid a week before being hospitalized.
the vaccines are meant to prevent any such outcome, and have been determined by the medical system to have far less risky than covid itself.
let's recognize the facts and not say the whole thing is a hoax.

    1. What makes you think the two children's issue is Covid related?!? (besides the liberal media)

One of the children you admit had the flu. In my experience, this time around, the flu was much worse than the Covid.

The other when happened to test positive from Covid, but was asymptomatic. Which means she was not feeling any difficulty breathing prior to incident. Which probably means the Covid had nothing to do with issue. She happened to test positive, like many people do when tested. If we go arouynd testing people for illnesses, most of the world would be sick with something.

    2. covid has caused heart attacks in rare cases even when there was no trouble breathing beforehand.

flu combined with covid can cause more problems, than just the flu.

there is also MIS-C / PIMS in rare cases.
and long covid which affects children in relatively few cases.
these can all be looked up online - it sometimes happens to children. and it can happen even in Lakewood !
vaccination offers protection from these complications.

    3. You are "looking up on line" in too much liberal media.

Nobody knows that Covid causes any heart attacks in asymptomatic patients. Any heart attack patient who tests positive for Covid, is considered a Covid caused heart attack. There is proof of ZERO children getting a heart attack from this Covid.

And the otehr thing the liberal media is not telling you, NATURAL IMMUNITY uis always better than the vaccine. PERIOD

Almost every child in Lakewood has natural immunity. It also does not matter if the antibody count went down. The immunity is still there.

I myself had my antibody count all the way down to what they call "negative." I have been testing for Covid weekly (work related). I am heavily expose to Covid, but did not get it this time around. But my antibody count is going up and up. (Defending my body from getting Covid)

There are far more risks giving the vaccine to a child, especially with natural immunity, than there is with the shot itself. More children have been hospitalized from the vaccine than from Covid. (Not reported on liberal media)

    4. Liberal media = anything that makes my life uncomfortable.

The whole 'natural immunity is better than a vaccine' is such unadulterated nonsense, I am embarrassed to share the same sun as the people propagating it. Besides the fact that there are multiple studies both ways, it also makes no difference. You don't have to make a choice, you can have natural immunity AND the vaccine. They aren't mutually exclusive.

      But of course, liberal media......................

  4. Women are being sent home on shabbos from Monmouth medical center since Jan 1 2022. It's a big chutzpah they're there already no one is contracting anything or exposing anyone I they stay another 5 hours. They also closed their nursery. Are there other hospitals that did the same?? I wonder.

    2. Interesting. My sister wasn’t thrown out after 24 hours this Shabbos. They said as long as there was no influx of new patients, she would be allowed to stay. Was discharged right after shabbos, a full 48 hours after birth.

  5. The township is not using Covid money for tuition because NO ONE will actually use this money for tuition. They will just pocket the money and still not pay their tuition. Bc it is being given directly to the parents and the township will not tell the schools who got it. So no mechanism to make sure it is being used to pay the outstanding bill.

    1. Poor schools, that are suffering so much from covid. How dare the government stop the food boxes? And the PPP and more.
The schools will do just fine, and the rest of us will also.
