- 2:30 pm: Snow accumulating in Lakewood 1-3 inches. Northern Ocean county and on did not get as predicted Coastal ocean county getting the heaviest snowfall, cold air moving in currently high of 28F. 1-3 inches total for Toms River area along the coast. snow will continue falling lightly in Lakewood until 7 pm. Careful of black ice.
- 12:00 pm Forcasters lower snow totals in Lakewood to the 3 -5 inch mark as cold air pushes back against the snow creating a cutoff at the I 195 but higher snow totals in the southern half of ocean county. Snow expected to clear out by 5:00 pm

- 8:15 am- Up to 12 inches of snow, ‘near blizzard conditions’ in latest N.J. forecast. NWS now has Southern NJ including Toms River and bordering Lakewood in the 8-12 inches range. Snow will come down 2 inches per hour. Expect early dismissal from schools.

- There will be Regular AM busing today for Lakewood schools by LSTA. The bus companies and schools will monitor weather conditions throughout the day and decide on dismisal times.

- Weather.com updates snow totals for Monday bet 5-8 with temps dropping to 18 in the evening. Schools are concerned about no busing and parents driving in a sheet of ice at dismissal time. Decision on opening will be made at 5am
