קומו ונעלה ציון Families Register for "Kiryas Lakewood’ in Ma'aleh Amos

 A Historic Event

Not since the migration from Europe to Eretz Yisroel in the early 1800’s by members of the European Chasidic community and the ‘Talmidei HaGra,’ as well as the migration that too place in the late 60’s and early 70’s, has their been a such a enthusiastic response to such a beautiful calling.
What began last summer as a dream by an idealistic vibrant group of young ‘Avreichim,’ has materialized to a reality that has now grown to a group of 37 applicants.

Last summer a group organized by Rabbi Dovid Koleditzky mobilized to kraft a plan in response to a growing threat to the children and the adults, as a result of the spiraling levels of immorality and dystopia that invades all segments of society.

While the challenges of migration are numerous and complex, some of the top concerns expressed by prospective students involved appropriate housing, proper educational resources for their children and access to ‘parnassa’ resources.

The group has connected to an established American frum community that adheres to the highest standards of the Lakewood NJ Community which will band together with almost 40 new families from Lakewood to create ‘Kiryas Lakewood’ located 30 minutes outside of Yerushalayim.

Newly constructed homes are available for rent, both 5 bedroom single homes and 2 bedroom cottages. Planning is now being done to build housing for purchase for those that want and decide to stay and build this new vibrant community.

  1. Just a friendly reminder. This place is past the Green Line, and Rav Shach was adamantly opposed to the idea of building a Charedi Yishuv over the Green Line.

    1. Kiryat sefer is not in the middle of the West Bank at all and while Beitar is moreso it still is in the well established settlement block of gush etzion.

    2. Beitar is right across the road from a dangerous Palestinian village and is B"H thriving with Hashem's help. It is one of the most beautiful cities in E"Y to live.

  4. i find it hard to believe what you said about Rav Shach because Kiryat sefer, Beitar, Ramot, Ramat Shlomo, Ramat Eshkol and Neve Yaakov are all past the green line

    1. Rav Shach was against building settlements that are deep inside the West Bank, specifically he opposed the settlement of Emanuel, because of התגרות באומות.
All the above are just past the green line, aren't surrounded by Arab villages and are not a threat to Arab sovereignty in the West Bank

    2. Aran sovereignty in the west bank means a terrorist state

    3. Barack Hussein ben Chaim - you are welcome to your opinion. I am sure you allow Rav Shach to have his too. He believed that these settlements should not be built.

    1. Nebach! You don’t daven for the rebuilding of Yerushalyim (minimal of 3 times a day)?! I know this isn’t in Yerushalayim but it’s too expensive so they are doing it as close to Yerushalyim they found. Anyone who doesn’t have a yearning towards E”Y and Yerushalyim especially is missing one of the most fundamentals of Yiddishkeit!
Btw, Maalah Amus is not a new established settlement there are plenty of people living there already with schools, maybe not as big as Beitar.

  7. Hefkervelt commenters:
Don't move to Lakewood because (((developers))).
Don't move to Israel because Tziyoinim.
Don't move to Florida because gashmiyus.
Basically, let us just complain about whatever decision you make and feel holier than thou.

  10. Rav Shach had no problem with going over the green line as with kiryat sefer etc.
His tayne was that since there was a real chshash that they might give it back therefore it is not a good eitza to advise yungerlight to buy apartments there.

    1. and a kid was killed in toms river last week!!!
find out how many chareidi "settler's" were killed in the last 15 years, and compare it to car accidents, and going in any car will be much much much more dangerous.

    2. R"L they have car accidents in Eretz Yisroel too. That's added to the terror risk. Interesting that you ask how many charedi settlers were killed in the last 15 years, with a cutoff that ignores all the kedoshim murdered on the buses to Imanuel 20 years ago. Imanuel and Beitar had their victims, Kiryat Sefer too. May we see no more korbanos, but the truth is that the Arab neighbors in the shtachim don't love us now any more than they did 20 years ago.

    3. Unfortunately far more have been killed in terror attacks on this side of the Green Line - including in the heart of Yerushlayim.
They hate us all over- they are not confined to "lines"
