According to the National Weather Service, as of 5:46pm, at least 16 inches of snow fell in parts of Toms River, 14.1 in Jackson, 11.0 in Manchester, 16.8 in Brick and 14.0 in Howell. No updated numbers for Lakewood yet but likely the final number will be around 15 or 16 inches. (Onejerseyschorr)

- Shabbos in The snow: Lakewood got a little over a foot of snow 13-14" from the Nor'easter storm. It snowed for 21 hours from 6 pm Friday night to 3 pm Shabbos day. LPD says roadways are plowed but icy patches remain as they are not salted yet. Many developments have not been fully plowed and parked cars are plowed in as the digging out begins. Wind drifts blew snow around creating huge mounds and piling up in outside steps to basements.

- LPD: Use extreme caution if you're out on the roads. The streets have been plowed & are being salted, but with cold temps icy spots remain. GSP is clear, over 600 flights were cancelled at Newark airport.

Can anyone explain why before all streets in town are 100% plowed cleared and salted did I notice a township tractor plowing the driveway of MM house and what did the tracter do he pushed all tge dnow on to the sidewalk opposite his house outside forest park and now you cant walk on the sidewalk

    1. Recently, he voted to pass an ordinance to raise his salary to over 65K and give himself free lifetime health insurance. The fine print also included free snow plowing as he is a very important person (vip).

      Besides, there is also another important government official in the house - that being an MUA commissioner.

      There are no other residences in Lakewood that have 2 officials who make important decisions on behalf of their constituents. So let’s cut the couple some slack. They deserve to be taken care of before the commoners.
