  1. This is terrible chinuch to give off on Friday. We are telling the kids to celebrate kratzmach.
Where is the seichel of those incharge

    1. There are no drivers available. So unless you're going to drive the bus, keep quiet

    2. Ever heard of car pool???
Yes schools are staying open asking parents to car pool. No excuse to close down because no buses especially because of the holiday. Bad decisions by people entrusted with chinuch of our daughters

    3. Actually its a very good decision. Carpools are not the answer, especially on Fridays when the girls are in school for less than 2 hours, by the time they get there (with all the traffic) they will have to leave. What type of chinuch is it for girls to see the adults doing things that are silly and impractical? Smart decision to be practical and just shut down schools for the day.
By the way, is it terrible chinuch to teach the boys not to learn on kratzmach? Lets just teach the girls the same thing, and everything will be fine.

    4. You obviously have no clue what goes on regular Fridays with school lasting less than 2 hours the buses on Friday is even worse than carpools with buses first showing up at 9:30-10:00 and dismissal starts at 11:00- 11:15
But with all that there is school. The decision not to open was not made with yiddishkeit or chinuch. They should not be in charge of our daughters chinuch

  2. Schools should use their conference lines on Friday- the ones they set up for covid.
This way they have school, but no transportation issues.

    1. Schools should allow the option if the covid conference lines every day. This will allow the kids the freedom to grow normally instead of being locked up in a classroom every day for 13+ years.

  3. per 100,000 Population, those who are non vaxxed are 9x more likely to end up in ICu according to Canadian
    Stats

    1. One cannot trust Canadian stats. They used to count mannequins in the icu. I live here. They exaggerate, lie hide the truth in order to keep this farce alive. There has not been one death as far as I know in the frum community from covid19 since it started.

    2. The issue with that stat - more of the vacinated are people in the public sector and healthcare which were more likely exposed to covid and either got covid or were asymptomatic. So there is never going to be a good definite stat to rely on - Unless you can be certain the exact status of people in each group.

  4. The genius that keeps posting that “they shouldn’t be in charge of your child’s Chinuch” is 100 % right. You should definitely remove your children from every Lakewood Moisad immediately. If you’re brainless enough to actually think that this decision was made as quickly as your stupid response, you should homeschool your children, and pass on to them all the daas Torah that you give and of course learn while surfing the web all day.
As a side note, “many” mechanchim and mechanchos of many different moisdos were in heavy discussion on this matter for many hours and days. It blows the mind, that someone like you would think that they didn’t think of the concerns that you had.

  5. The teachers and mechanchos were not consulted at all it was a fly by the night decision. As a matter of fact many schools will be open with carpool.
Stop trying to defend a stupid decision that was not thought out well or made by the right people.

  6. Name changed to Chaim Shaul ben Pessel
    Please daven

  7. I never said Teachers. I said Mechanchos aka principals that are in Chinuch for 40+ years. But like I said, you obviously have more daas Torah than them, that’s why they’re the principals and you’re the anonymous commenter on a blog.

    2. There are mechanchos that are 40+ years in chinuch who agree with the anonymous bloggers to have school open. Sad attempt on your part to win a argument

  8. You cannot turn the whole Lakewood into one big Gridlock in the Winter on a Short Friday when Shabbos runs early and everyone has 100 things to take care of
Let the children stay home and learn with their Parents or Freinds and Chavruses at home or Shul
No one said they should not learn
The question is if they and their parents should spend the whole day on the road trying to get to school which will be over by the time they get there
And no one wants to sit in standstill traffic in Lakewood for an hour or more with a bunch of restless and cranky kids

    1. Haha mit amuhl you care about traffic and are concerned about the parents spending their day in traffic
