  4. Did Agudah discuss the removing of religious exemption at their convention? Or is this not considered an important issue?

    1. Seeing as our religion does not prohibit or even limit vaccination, why should the Aguda get involved?
Remember, Aguda is for Torah Jews, not Scientologists or some other religion.

    2. For the most part you will be correct excepting the fact they lent a hand to help the Wild gung-ho anti-vaxxers a few years ago in Albany
And they warned that limitation of religious exemptions would be problematic

    3. Our religion prohibits risky behavior. What is considered risky behavior is decided by rabbonim, not doctors. Does this vaccination qualify as risky behavior, ask your rov. What if long term risks are unknown? What about vaccinating a non vulnerable age group 10 year olds, is the benefits of not spreading covid for 6 months reason enough? How about a future riskier vaccine? How about a possibility of forcing and aids vaccine (with side effects) upon a group that doesn't engage in aids behavior? The Torah does not defer to the experts for the answers to these questions.

Agudah absolutely sould stand against any limits of personal decisions based on religious beliefs.

Starts with vaccine, then will be milah, for Ed abortions, forced gender changes, end of life care based on 'science'

Government has no place deciding if my religion should or shouldn't have an opinion on a vaccine, as harmless as the covid vaccine might or might not be.

    4. Seeing as our religion does not prohibit or even limit vaccination, why should the Aguda get involved?

For the same religions like Muslims joined Agudas Yisroel in their lawsuit against the red zone even though NYS made sure not to include any mosques in the red zones. Because once religious liberty starts getting chipped away at in this country it's only of time until it will come to hurt us. If there were a court ruling that government does not need to take religious objections into account when issuing vaccine mandates, that ruling will probably come us as case precedent when the frum world is in some conflict with the government
