  3. I can understand that people don't want to be vaccinated against their will. However these teachers were not threatened with being fired. They can be tested instead of getting vaccines. This is a reasonable alternative and I don't see what the fuss is about. They aren't going to lose their jobs.

    1. The right to stick things up your nose bi weekly is not reasonable

    2. Its a fuss by people with an axe to grind. Anyone that takes that ridiculous "news" site seriously doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. ("outrage against our brothers" why, because the teachers have to swab their nose due to state regulations??) Hundreds of women in Lakewood are dealing with the same guidelines. Anyone who works for Catapult, Tender Touch, Towne and probably the rest of the agencies already has to test weekly if not vaccinated. Yes, its a hassle but we deal with it.

    3. Oh please, 9:28AM. I do clerical work at a nursing home and had to get tested often. It's not a big deal & it let's you and everyone else know if you actually have COVID. COVID is not a joke, even thought it's B"H on the decline now. It's more than reasonable and nothing to scream about. Since when have all the people become such Snowflakes!! Grow up!!

    4. That's now. Nuch the election there won't be a testing option, just like DeBlasio is doing starting Friday in NY. DeBlasio is Murphy's new rebbuh.

    5. I love that play with words. Stick 'things' up your nose. What could those 'things' be? Use your imagination, because it is all true. They might stick a pen up there, maybe it will be a broomstick.
Because the government is really interested in sticking 'things' up people's noses.

Some people really need to find jobs or something to occupy their time.

    6. Covoed is on the decline you say?? Perhaps somewhere, but most definitely not in Lakewood.

    1. it seems prettty simple to me. the mosdos and low income people prefer murphy because he will be way more generous with funding everything.

and BUSINESS OWNERS who got hurt from Murphys covid guidelines want jack, and they are not concerned with decreases in the state funding.

Remember when Christie who is republican got in, all of a sudden there was no more free bussing, and the school budget became impossible. there was no funding problems before Christie.

    2. Low income people also pay property taxes, whether they rent or own.

    3. Property taxes will never go down no matter who is governor.
Any property tax increase is mainly on the local level, it's not increased by the state.
and any property tax increase is insignificant and not relevant when compared to the funding Mosdos and people with lower incomes receive.

    4. The funding formula of the state is shortchanging Lakewood

And vouchers can bring taxes down as well

  5. Hypocrites!
If the schools and Murphy cared about safety and health they would make everyone test weekly including those vaccinated since there are many breakthrough cases of fully vaccinated people getting covid and infecting others the vaccine wanes and they need boosters. But it is not about health for murphy 8000 killed in nursing homes mean nothing.

well aware of what gets votes

    2. Murphy is well aware of what votes he gets, but win or lose, Murphy is not running again after this, so it doesn't matter, he'll pay no attention to who voted for him.
