Just wondering if the 7mil to lakewood is comparable to what other towns and cities received per capita. Or is the govt not paying their fair share (to republican voting cities...). Please share info if you have any
ReplyDeleteEither way, we must be grateful to the One Above for allowing us to prosper in this great country. May we see moshiach speedily in our days
Where is this 7 million going to will they lower taxes with it or give themselves salary raises
DeleteWas Mrs Murphy, referenced above, talking about raising children in nj or lakewood? How would she know, did she ever do either... Either way, it's time to vote the bums out.
ReplyDeleteCan someone explain the obsession with Cittarelli to me? All of these are quotes from either him or news stories about him.
ReplyDeleteHe is pro hashchasa - even in schools.
""Love is love, and who you love is no business of your Governor. And resources should be made available to students who want to understand themselves as they grow into adults."
He is pro-abortion.
But he said he would support writing a state
law to enshrine the protections of Roe vs.
Wade in New Jersey if it is overturned.
"If that's what we need to do here in New
Jersey to protect a woman's right to choose,
we will do that." Ciattarelli said.
He's also a COVID panic-monger.
"I never hear [DeSantis] warning people about how
deadly this virus is. I think it's careless to just say, 'Go about your lives.' I've never said that," Ciattarelli said in an interview this month with the USA TODAY Network New Jersey Editorial Board.
He voted for the legalization & government funding of physician assisted suicide because "it's cheaper than keeping them alive."
Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-26), a vocal opponent of A2270, a bill that allows terminally ill patients to end their lives by obtaining and self-administering lethal
doses of medication from a doctor, released a statement decrying Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli's (R-16) defense of the legislation - particularly comments he made regarding the funding for physician-assisted suicides.
"The notion that taxpayers are better off paying some people to commit suicide because it's cheaper than helping them live is kind of sick," Webber responded shortly after PolitickerN] reported on Cittarellis comments yesterday.
"The problem with taxpayers' funding assisted suicide is not the money it might cost, but that public funding forces millions of people to participate in something they find so objectionable."
And this is the guy some people are backing? And for what? He's a Mushchis who has never done anything for us & who will certainly lose.
When you feel the pain of all of the suffering caused by Murphys lockdowns bruchniyus ubgashmiyus you will understand
DeleteI don't believe anything a politician says on the campaign trail.
DeleteI do know how Murphy acts & I oppose just about everything he did during this pandemic. I also know that he will try to perpetuate the pandemic to further his liberal policies & force vaccines on our children & their teachers.
There is a difference between. Cittareli being tolerant of certain things, because he feels he needs to politically, than a true believer like Murphy.
DeleteMurphy also said "if you are concerned about taxes maybe NJ is not for you" I care about taxes, why would I vote for him?
Additionally, the VAAD has not had the best interests of the people of Lakewood in mind for the last 20 years, yet we are the source for any influence and power they have.
A vote against the Vaad may bring about a Vaad who actually cares about the interest of the voters, or in the very least, humble them somewhat so they aren't so blatant about it.
Why is there no Maternity ward anywhere in this most equitable place for partners to bear children?
ReplyDeleteBecause it will be called mother-by-choice ward, to be politically correct
DeleteLakewood vaad election update
ReplyDeletehttps://jnews.us/the-new-jersey-globe-reports-the-lakewood-vaad-will-endorse-phil-murphy-for-a-second-term-as-governor-of-new-jersey/
The reason I'm voting for Citarelli is due to national politics. We must support the Republican party to prevent socialism.
ReplyDeleteI’m not voting period. My vote doesn’t count, it will not make any difference whatsoever. The same idiots get elected and they do what they want.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite dumb to not vote. What are yuou doing in this contry? Of course every vote counts and you must vote to be heard . With that attitude the only people who vote are the unions. Every vote counts. Vote Vote Vote!
DeleteThat's local, but Governors keep changing. You know why? TERM LIMITS! Go vote!
Deleteif you think your vote does not count simply look at the Goergia special election that was won by democrats by a very small amount of votes, your opinion seems to be contrary to the data
DeleteI always voted and even came to demand that they allow my shul to build in WG but they didn’t let so why should I vote? I’m wasting my time.
