  1. Congratulations to the self appointed self serving vaad on a Murphy landslide victory to be announced Tuesday night. Don’t bother voting, there is no doubt that he is going to win in a landslide.

  2. Dont say that. Every vote counts.

    1. Menashe has told many people that he doesn’t care anymore if residents do or don’t vote for him. He has enough to retire on already..

  4. The only tzad to maybe vote for murphy is if he is for sure winning and he would take nekama but all other factors Cittarelli would be better. The askanim keep on saying that murphy was not like Cuomo and let lakewood open. That is not because of Murphy it was in spite of him. He sent state troopers into lakewood to arrest people at the levaya of Rav Chaim Moshe Strulowitz zya. He fined and arrested people who made social distancing simchas. He jad mosrim from within helping target fellow yidden.
It was the lawsuit brought on by Rabbi knopfler that forced Murphy to back away from shutting lakewood down

Askanim say he gave money for transportation look at your tax bill, lakewood owes 200 million dollars to the state. We are short changed by the state with the funding formula murphy did nothing about it. Some mosdos and private askanim may have gained but not the average taxpayer.

  5. Does the Eibishter factor in at all in the governors election and what is ratzon Hashem or is it all about negius kavod power and the Benjamin$

    1. Your argument seems so nice and Jewish, so beautiful and uplifting.
      But it is total nonsense.
Ratzon Hashem is that Yeshivos should flourish, which needs money. WHen someone says we should vote for the one that will bring money for Yeshivos, he is saying how ratzon Hashem works.
The way of sheker is always to try and mention Hashem's name as much as possible. It is the classic deflection that sheker always uses.

    3. Money to Yeshivas is one thing. Money to enrich school owners and VAAD members?? A different story.

  6. The Va'ad claim to represent us.
I don't believe allegations of corruption etc. so I won't comment on that.

I just want to know, what have they done for us or anyone?

In the last years, Christie attacked our community. What did the Va'ad do then? Was a single one of his victims helped by any member of the Va'ad? The victims I know told me that not one Va'ad member reached out to him to offer help, and he gained nothing from their connections. Essentially, they were asleep at the wheel, on the precise occasion that we needed them.

Then along came corona. First, the world was fearful that a pandemic will hit us. Us frumme Yidden have unique needs and issues. We can spread viruses through tishn, chassunos, minyanim and parlor meetings in ways that Goyim cannot. Did the Va'ad put together a task force for Lakewood? Did they, as our public representatives, figure out a way to live through this? When eventually the pandemic hit us, and the government shut us down, where they anywhere to be found on the field, making arrangements, issuing guidelines, bringing down experts to tell us how to have Minyanim, what schools can do and how to bring the government into our issues? When schools needed to be re-opened, where were they? Avi Schnall, of the Aguda, was eventually on the state task force, but nobody from the Va'ad.

Raboisai! The Va'ad does not exist. It is a figment of the printer's imagination. Once a year a sign is printed, and that is the entire Va'ad. No help for anyone, no advice, no leadership. Nothing!
If they are doing things behind the scenes, we would have heard about them when it was necessary. It is a hoax!

Are there any readers who can set up a Va'ad for this town? A group of askanim with proven track records of helping others, and the sechel to see past the ends of their noses. People who will actually ask advice from zekeinim and listen to it. People who know their limitations and obligations. Do we have such people? Time to step up and make a Va'ad for the town.

  7. Breaking
Rav Yeruchom Olshin Shlita is not backing the VAAD for this election he purposely did not sign the letter endorsing any vaad candidates.
Vote Ciatterelli without guilt of going against daas Torah because daas torah is saying to vote Ciattarelli
Dont be nispoel from the vaad spokesperson who called lakewood residents BAD APPLES

    1. No Da'as Torah said anything about voting for Ciatarrelli. Not one. Your comment is untrue.
When someone brings one signature saying so, their credibility will be restored.

      Fake news

    2. Not fake news.
Rav Yeruchom Bedavka did not sign it but the vaad wont tell you that there is serious opposition within and try to fool the olam

    1. chassidim vote only Democrat because they get more money from them.
when Rav Avigdor Miller was alive, his opinion was not accepted by the moetzes of agudah, rav Pam rav yaakov rav moshe etc. many times they said to vote for democrats regardless of their values.

why all of a sudden now did he become The Only correct approach ?

    2. That link doesn't say anything about Murphy's plans. Some more 'fake news' from the right.

And let's get this thing clear. The only way the government will involve themselves into our schools is through vouchers. Any candidate that promises vouchers should be shunned.

  11. The vaad is about as relevant as the aguda. Tell me one thing either has done. Maybe the aguda is better, at least they make a weekend getaway.

  12. I don’t understand why there is so much animosity towards the vaad. Don’t we owe them hakaras hatov? A group of selfless individuals who don’t sleep at night and everything is for our good.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Is this supposed to be a joke? The Vaad that works to get children into schools are selfless and give from their own money and time so they can influence schools, This is not the same Vaad.

This Vaads sole purpose is to tell people who to vote for, then they disappear until the next election. Look into the business, non profits etc, that members of this "Vaad" run. the vast majority have a very obvious financial interest in who is Govorner

  13. The only thing I have against the vaad is they didn’t let my shul build but Murphy wasn’t involved in that so I have no tainos on him. Since we know he is going to win in a landslide anyway it’s worth staying on his good side and voting for him.
