  1. Historically bus drivers were the safest drivers. This has changed, where my understanding is that bus drivers get paid per "route" and not per hour, which encourages bus drivers to try to get to complete their route in the fastest method possibble.
I have seen numerous times bus drivers running stop signs, going across double lines, going in oncoming traffic to make a red light, holding and speaking with their phone, texting etc.
The reckless drivers are only a few- but a few too many.
Yes, there are regular vehicle drivers which are reckless as well. Its not only the bus drivers. The only difference is (1) These bus drivers are driving our precious children. (2) they are paid with state and local $$.
There should be a REAL system to report and have action taken against bus drivers and their companies. A "tip line" from the LSTA wont really do much. Unless they agree to publicize all the data, which you know will not happen.

Lakewood has a problem , not sure why the singular focus on Bus Drivers, they aren't angels, they will also be included in these stats. Also, how many of these accidents were the drivers faults?

    2. I drive throughout lakewood most of the day and everyday. The proportion of cars to buses on the road is very high. You need to understand that bus drivers are driving 50 kids to different stops on long routes that traverse the town at different corners. Think of it for a minute and you are driving in a local town with 50 places to get and you are driving a large machine and noone wants to let you go in front of them or noone wants to let you pull out of a street and everyone is honking if u stop for more than 30 seconds. Also eveyone thinks I go first bec im in a bigger rush. What do I think happens then.
Food for thought I see this everyday 10 times

    3. Listen, there are two other qualified people running for Township Committee. If everyone who votes for Jack also votes for Hector and Jimmy, we'll have a real race on our hands!

You need to calm down. Saying Na Nach a few times can help. Otherwise our good friend Johnny or Jack can help. Walker and Daniels, respectively.

    2. Only Jack Ciatterelli, not Daniels, can help now!

  5. I don't see any actual plan from Ciaterelli for cutting taxes. And how would he pay for his voucher program?

  6. Why is Reb Dov's trip such a secret? Why haven't we heard about it? Where is he saying a Shiur? How can we meet him?

  8. Nobody wants to work for double Bais faiga salary either. Other offices are paying much more.

  9. Rebbeim get paid bupkes? How much do they get paid? I thought they are paid pretty well especially when you consider all the sidekicks and programs etc.
