- A peer reviewed study by the The European Journal of Immunology says that Most people who have been infected with COVID-19, will carry antibodies for at least a year,
The playgroup increase is amazing chutzpah. The credit was given to help the parents not the providers. Additionally the morahs will receive their own credit for their own kids.
ReplyDeleteThirdly, if the father is a student, the family can only claim 50% of a maximum of 6,000 annually.
It's also just wrong because the enhanced credit so far is only for 2021 childcare, so next year's costs will only be deductible for Sept-Dec
I think it's fair they should get together and make an increase - but then they have to actually be meshabed themselves to work on an actual schedule which coincides with either Yeshiva or a typical work schedule.
DeleteNot neither.
I agree with playgroups raising prices. Grocery stores should also. After all, the milk bread peanut butter etc is paid by food stamps and they will pay more...
ReplyDeleteThat's not the way the world works. The tax credit is for 2 parents working. And not everyone gets it.
Hashem decides how much $$ you have
ReplyDeleteNO-ONE ELSE
So it’s ok if I steal your money because, hey obviously Hashem decided I should have it.
Deleteif you steal my dollar then yes it was decreed i should lose the dollar- you get punished for chossing to be the shlaich to do it
ReplyDeletethats all

ReplyDeleteNebach you are so confused
Over 200 cases since Friday amd growing and people still refuse to vaccinate
ReplyDeleteDO NOT VACCINATE.
DeleteDont fall for fake media manipulation.
Trust yourself, your rav.
Do you really trust our government?
Does it look like they know what they're doing?!
Dont be part of they're endless dumb bumbling mistakes...
too late now.. it takes a 1 - 3 weeks for the vaccine to reach full efficacy
DeleteOur government?? I’m trusting the overwhelming amount of doctors that have nothing to do with government and make nothing off vaccines as well as the majority of Rabbanim who say to vax
DeleteUntil Covid 19 came along people generally sought the advice of worldwide experts regarding serious illness. Asking your “own rav” was usually not on the table
DeleteUnfortunately Covid 19 has become politicized,
and medical safety has become convoluted with personal freedom ,politics and fragmented daas torah.
All the people who scream “do not vaccinate” with such certainty reek from the stench of Trumpian attitude towards generations of science, and the odors of their desire to control their own destiny.
However this attitude misguides them to cause a public michshol.
Anyone who screams” do not vaccinate “in my eyes is tantamount to yelling fire in a crowded theatre.
may gd avenge the blood who die from listening to you.
and by the way i hope that unvaccinated will b banned from domestic travel without a permit.
common sense.

Well said: "UNTIL COVID 19 CAME ALONG".
After Covid 19 came along and we all saw that the "experts" being fed by the media and the corrupt (woke) fools that are our government have made endless mistakes.
How they are killing people like flies.
How they cant figure out what's they're head and what's they're feet.
And sadly, how they have brainwashed social media addicts to follow them like robots.
After all this and more. Il stick to Daas torah.
may gd avenge the blood who die from listening to you
actually i am the author of the post “until covid 19 came along”
Deletei actually meant daas torah experts for example r gissinger or the previous skvere rebbe from bp etc. not every random rav is equipped for these shaalos
anyhow r chaim kanievsky got it right as did the baltimore rabbanim and some lkwd rabonim who are hiding in the closet
stay safe
Supply and demand, there is a shortage of playgroups in this town. If you want the price to go down get more people to do playgroups.
ReplyDeleteWhy are playgroup Morah's always blamed for everything in this town? Everything is going up food, taxes, rent yet playgroup Morah's should never raise their prices to cover their expenses.
Don't blame the morahs. It's a free market. Actually this is Exhibit A of inflation directly caused by government handouts and a perfect case in point for why the handouts don't really help people in the long run.
DeleteFree market allows for any vendor person or company to dictate price in reasonable fashion.
Deletethe problem is when dealing with a relatively small market such as one community (as opposed to Walmart for example) so a small amount of people exert undue influence on prices.
also price setting as a group and bullying from other vendors those who keep their old price is plain wrong.
however i would not be overly concerned about morahs who are generally hard working well intentioned citizens.
i would check the numbers and practices of real estate agents who can become quite greedy at times
on one deal they can put their fellow citizen back hundreds and thousands
those who get my point will get it
many wont.
If playgroup morahs can charge more they will hopefully take less children which can help your child have a better experience...
ReplyDeleteThey are charging more because their expenses went up, they can't afford to take less kids.
DeleteWhy vaccinate if I had COVID and it’s not so pashut that the vaccine even works!
ReplyDeleteIt's very pashut, the data is clear that the vaccine significantly reduces hospitalizations and almost eliminates death.
DeleteInstead of saying it's not pashut, look up the data.
The data actually shows that natural immunity is more effective than the vaccine...
DeleteJust wait until Murphy gets re-elected he will be draconian. He is holding off until after elections.
ReplyDeleteJust like what happened in CA. Now all the kids need shots. DON'T reelect Murphy!
Deletei hope you give your kids shots for polio and mmr.
Deleteim starting to suspect that todays generations of mothers are afraid of needles.
Of course they get the other shots. Polio and mmr don't have so many, potentially deadly, side effects. No way my kids are getting the Covid shot.
DeleteSo then how come I cant find younger two Morah for next year?!?!?
ReplyDelete- We are going to be Draconian if we FEEL we have to be Draconian" - Phil Murphy
ReplyDeleteLook up the definition:
dra·co·ni·an
/drəˈkōnēən/
adjective
(of laws or their application) excessively harsh and severe.
"the Nazis destroyed the independence of the press by a series of draconian laws"
Seems to be a mistake here. The childcare credit is for 2021. It's over in 2022. For that price raise the prices due to food boxes or unemployment.
ReplyDeleteIt’s not over in 2022
ReplyDeleteYup see here https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/child-and-dependent-care-credit-faqs it is only for tax year 2021. Someone is misinformed here
ReplyDeleteAs if Millennials and whippersnappers care or they misconstrue facts.
ReplyDeleteWorld revolves around them
we're now living with this monster that our communities have created
ok, boomer. we get it. you're old and all young people are bad for not being old like you.
DeleteThe reason the government gives tax credits is because it stimulates the economy. Both parents work, pay taxes (ie social security and withholding), get a credit so they can work, send their kids to preschool, which then pays rent, utilities pays for other teachers and in turn pays taxes.... It's just deferred taxes.... Just wondering if these preschools will start paying their assistants and subs W2, paying workers comp etc.... If that is the case they deserve and increase...
ReplyDeleteWhy do morahs get paid for months they barely work?
ReplyDeleteIf you rather pay more for the months they work you can.. morahs need to make a living and if it's such a wonderful job with all the time off why is there a shortage? Morahs btw spend a lot of time when you think they're off aka Sunday and the summer etc. preparing and talking to parents... Morahs salaries are stagnant compared to every other job. If you don't want them to go up than don't charge more at your business..
DeleteOther jobs are not stagnant? What planet are you living on? You think all us rich working guys get a 100k raise every year.
