Wednesday July 20 News Updates Lakewood

- A Jackson developer Bellevue Estates, a company led by developer Mordy Eichorn
was proposing building four Orthodox Jewish schools on Leesville Road, but with two others recently approved just a couple miles away on the same street, he may be convinced to build housing instead.  Jackson officials led by Council President Marty Flemming requested that he instead build houses by offering to allow him to build 60 homes, including 12 affordable housing units, a deal that would require a variance in Jackson’s zoning. -Lakewood news media in mail bag letter frenzy, with more competition in the Lakewood news media clickbait articles are now more common with so called " angry letters about made up or rehashed issues in an attempt to get hits and traffic. The headlines are  usually of an angry rant that is meant to generate reactions and get a conversation going. overall competition is good for the consumer, but the real issues are not brought to the fore. 

- Multiple MVA's yesterday in Lakewood resulting in injuries and patients transported to the hospital, Township officials have kept quiet about the high number of daily accidents. Over the last few days LPD has been seen doing some traffic enforcement around town pulling over cars.

  2. Frum community is not “exposed” to anything. No one is forcing you visit any site, and no one is forcing you to read anything. You are looking for it, so you find it.
    That being said, I agree, it’s all propaganda and 0% to be taken at face value.

There is no chance in the world that he will build houses think of it yourself how much profit is made on new homes and how much can you charge to rent a school out or sell it all he will do it get the approval for a school and then go ahead and sell the land with approvals with no building built
