- Lakewood zoning board approved - an application seeking to add 300 cars to Lanes Mill Road, one of the last remaining empty lots adjacent to the Lakewood / Brick border. The Township's existing zoning ordinances permit for less than half the amount of homes on this tract. Members said for the first time in a while, the Board is fortune enough to approve a development with townhomes which "for the first time, will actually be affordable for current Lakewood residents instead of only for New Yorkers". It will have 26 townhouses and 43 duplexes. Others argued if the applicant truly wants to build affordable homes he should build only townhomes and no duplexes more at FAA

On second thought I guess by dint of the fact that he is a rosh yeshiva of a premier torah institution that makes it more of a klal yisroel thing
ReplyDeleteIn the late 70s early 80s 3 relatively young roshei yeshiva were niftar, Rabbi Gedalya Schorr, Rabbi Boruch Sorotzkin, and Rabbi Shneur Kotler. At that time Rav Moshe & Rav Aaron were alive so the pain on a klall level was not felt but after 1986 there was a huge void in the leadership of the American yeshiva oilam mainly due to the 3 young roshei yeshiva who were niftar young.
DeleteYour ignorance should not be confused with a valid opinion.
ReplyDeleteRav Aron Kotler was niftar in 1962
ReplyDeleteHe clearly meant Rav Yaakov ztl
DeleteBoth of the first fellow's comments worked together well. There was reasonable room for both.
ReplyDeleteWhen did the site start actually retroactive deleting?
As author of said comments I can tell you that it took a few hours til it initially made it on so there was obviously some internal debate about it and can only guess that a after posting it he either got some flak over it or reconsidered
DeleteSo? Some family members etc.will dislike it, though the comment was sincere and hit close to target
ReplyDeleteHefkervelt has a reputation it would do well to preserve. That they don't succumb
Hv is not much different than the others that censor anything they don’t like. Is there any site where there can be open debate without censorship?
