American roshei yeshiva and admorim issued a call to have a unified joint tefilas Yom Kippur koton this coming Thursday ahead of Rosh Chodesh Nissan. They note is has now been a year since the mageifa took many lives R"L gedolei yisrael among them and there are still those who are in need of a refuah due to the virus, Many lost their parnassa. On top of that they point out the effect it had on Torah learning specifically on the younger children and on tefila betzibur because of the closures of yeshivos and shuls and worse that it has hit every Jewish community across the globe with a vengeance. Therefore they call on a national yom tefilah in unison this Thursday Yom kippur koton mukdam to beseech rachmei shamayim to heal the sick and to keep everyone healthy. Look in Taanis 12b in Rashi,Rosh,Ran,Tur,Shulchan Aruch and Rambam that the leaders should gather and take care of gezel and chomos before davening for help from Hashem. Why is this being hidden from the public ?? If the leaders don't know it's a bigger problem ....
