  1. Are the local Costco stores affected?

  2. Is our community in Jackson big enough to keep a store the size of a stop n shop busy enough that they can turn a profit on it and not lose their pants?

    1. I would assume they did the math before investing.

    2. And how will this impact NPGS that has bravely maintained their presence there despite the limited community?

    3. Don't assume We have plenty of stores that came and went.. That being said I think theyll be fine. NPGS on the other hand... NPGS is better priced on most everyday items(Yes I know their chicken,..) but the average consumer (who cries about tuition) doesn't care, they rather shop in a nicer store with a larger and better stocked selection.

    4. NPGS used to be cheaper on most items. If you compare costs, they are similarly priced nowadays to the other frum stores.

    5. It is not really. The yeshivishe Olam tends to gravitate away from these store. Especially the real Bnei Torah. וימאן

    6. It is not necessarily true that it did the math before clearly it has been some stores in Lakewood that closed after opening within 6 months such as restaurants and supermarkets/eateries so it shows that not everyone did all the math that even us can make #just saying

  3. Jews who donate money or tech to support the State rather than supporting Torah haKadosha in Eretz hakodesh are guilty of the murder of innocent Gazans and the deaths of Jewish soldiers. Support for the Zionist regime is impeding the Geulah.

    3. Innocent gazans? 9:54 is definitely a netura karta'nik.

    4. Be honest, 9:54. You are in your home in Israel and you look out your window and your house is surrounded with wild armed Gazans. Will you just call kupat ha'ir ?
Or will you (also) call the Zionist regime's IDF to come save you ?

    5. There are no innocent Gazans. Your Sinas Chinam is what's impeding the Geula.

  4. RZLT - Whoever takes money from the state loses the ability to really fight."
Satmar keeps saying what they were saying all the years, that if you take money you won't be able to fight them when you need to.
Except that this has been proven to be untrue in the past year. All the yeshivos who were being funded by the state are now fighting against the giyus just as hard as the mosdos who didn't take money

  5. Large eggs 2.99 in Lidl.

I was in a heimishe store last week, was 4.99 (actually same Puglisi as Lidl) and had a one month date, while eggs usually have 2-3 months. Are they holding the eggs to manipulate prices?

    1. Maybe the stores are selling less hence the low turnover. Or mjust maybe the egg suppliers are aware when the egg prices are about to go up - so they stock up.

I didn't say it's the stores or the distributor's fault.
I'm saying it's demand (hence price) manipulation
(Or maybe the distributor had a skid or two of dated but still fresh eggs, and gave the store a discount the store did not pass onto their customers.)

  7. Funny thing the Satmar Rebbe is saying.

Agudas Yisroel has done more to fight Tziyonim than anyone else. When the tziyonim tried to shmad everyone, the Moetzes created a Chinuch Atzma'i that held back the waves of shmad, while Satmar made demonstrations and supported the Edah Charedis that stopped cars driving on Kikar Shabbos.

The ones that fought and fight Tziyonim are the ones that took money from them. Even as their propaganda claims otherwise.

  8. the helega Satmar rebbe is right, the Zionists shmad has only intensified and the Zionists goals is to shut down yeshivas, there are lehavdil "orthodox synagogues" in the modernish/ YU camp who even donate to the IDF Rechmana letzlan instead of yeshivas, they think the Zionists are the geula. we the real frum recognize that ONLY the Torah protects klal yisroel not Bibi the atheist.

    1. Satmar is wrong.
They weren't mechadesh the idea that Zionists want to shmad people. Everyone knew that without them.

They were mechadesh a method of dealing with it. If we would have listened to them, the entire olam hatorah as we know it wouldn't exist. No chinuch atzma'i, no Kollelim, no Yeshivos. Only those who came from highly committed homes would have gone to Yeshivos. No baalebatim's children. Who would take care of giyus in the govmt until Chok Tasl if we all had listened to Satmar?

History proved the Satmar shittah as wrong as Mizrachi.

    2. The modernish of YU camp donate to all types of Orthodox yeshivot and mosdot.
Tzahal, by the way, does not accept donations. In fact, they do not allow donating ceramic plates in bulletproof uniforms, which many MO people were donating. Perfectly proper. They also donate "pinah chamah" pizza for off duty chayalim.

  12. Does anyone even remember what the shocking message DIRECTLY FROM HASHEM is of why the economy crashed in the past and keeps happening sadly?

    THE MESSAGE
Why is the economy so bad today? Why is the whole world going down? For the past thousands of years there was always Avoda zara in the world-from the molech to the baal to the asheira tree etc...-todays avoda zara is MONEY, we are a servant to money, we serve money, we bow down to money, we let money talk & rule us. Thus we leave Hashem no choice but to take it away from us Rachmana L'tzlan. But you can still save yourself from going down. if a person can use his money the right way & remember that it all comes from Hashem & it was just loaned to him (even though he worked for it), then he is the perfect person to continue holding Hashem's money.

May we all remember that Hashem runs the entire world and stop bowing down and running after money like Avoda Zara. Then the economy would not need to crash like it did in 2008 and Other times after that more recently.
