    1. Not arguing, just asking for a friend.... which Yeshiva did the Zionists try to close down?

    2. They cut funding to them, is that not trying to close them down?

    3. His Yeshiva didn't have its funding cut at all.

    4. How is "cutting funding" trying to close down a yeshiva? And why should they finance a yeshiva if the students don't participate in contributing to the military like the rest of the taxpayers?
According to my research, not one Yeshiva has ever been closed by the Zionists.

    5. I’m baffled at the attitude that some in the Charedei world have. On the one hand they talk endlessly about how much they hate the Zionists, how terrible the Zionists are etc. On the other hand they expect the Zionists to fund their Yeshivas and cater to many of their other needs. Then they act clueless about why they are hated in return.

    7. 10:29 As someone who is way more sympathetic to non-Jewish grievances about the Jewish community than most people are your comment is nonsense. In the US for example there are no Jewish groups whose entire identity is tied up with hating non-Jews, there are no Jewish groups who are well known and very vocal about their animosity towards non-Jews but still directly demand from non-Jews support for their schools etc.
