- Follow up to power outage in Lakewood yesterday with elected officials blaming the utility company, residents point blame on the elected officials who've been in power for 20 years. Article in faa news: Lakewood leaders in the dark decades of neglect leave town without JCP&L relationship
Lakewood, NJ—a township bursting with growth and potential—remains trapped in dysfunction, thanks to decades of failure by its elected officials. After more than 20 years in office, these so-called leaders have yet to establish even the most basic relationship with Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), the utility company responsible for keeping the town’s lights on. This negligence has left residents to suffer through countless outages, outdated infrastructure, and an absence of solutions, all while officials sit idly by, collecting their paychecks and prioritizing their political survival over the needs of their constituents.
A Town Betrayed The failure to address Lakewood’s power problems is more than incompetence—it’s a betrayal. These officials were elected to serve the people, but instead, they’ve allowed the town to fall into disrepair, ignoring the basic needs of their constituents while prioritizing development projects and political alliances that benefit only a select few.

Follow the Benjamins. It's always about $$$.
DeleteSome big askan must have invested in a utility company and they are pushing to have it service the area by putting pressure on the BPU
DeleteThere likely was a backlash against such evildoers.
DeleteThe so called outrage yesterday from Miller schnall Lichtenstein was manufactured and fake.
ReplyDeleteHave they shown any outrage about the daily traffic in Lakewood that they are responsible for
Or the 500 monthly accidents with people injured hospitalized with broken bones daily on the dangerous roads
Where is assemblyman Schnall screaming about the LSTA vendor not servicing the town with late pick ups and drop offs or no-shows why do they not post outrage videos like they did yesterday on a sleepy Sunday
They should resign in shame for their incompetence and neglect of critical issues affecting lakewood residents daily.
On Chanukah go and sing for the Goyim? What's going on?
ReplyDeleteEverything goes today

The power outages are the fault of the chasidim. Somehow everything wrong in this town is blamed on them.
ReplyDeletesarcasm is dumb
DeleteCould be.Give us details
DeleteThat's because true Bnai torah don't bash chasidim it's the wannabes tzugikiminer who need to bash so that way they feel like The real thing. Almost 100% of the time those who bash have grandparents or great grandparents chassidim. Self-hating! It's really a chassidishe problem;)
Delete100% non-chassidish blood. Super proud.

ReplyDeleteAnd now you know how women feel all the time.
I sure couldn't care less if some frum men's faces were blocked in pictures of the Township menorah lighting. So it must be not so bad for women.
Deletefeels pretty good! women are so lucky!
DeleteWe aren't defined by that!
DeleteToo bad.
Who cares about feel. Modox & BT women feel forced to wear a skirt.
Frum Sephardic women feel forced to a snood.Males feel forced to wear shirts & tzitzis.
Looks like the poop blocked faces of competitors in the news and askanus industry maybe they asked not to have their face the site
DeleteAgain.. so the Lakewood committee members have no problem attending a menorah lighting ceremony in town hall but they can't show up in person for a public meeting and will be sworn in online.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke
I went to that site to see the pictures, and I didn't see one of the important people of Lakewood there.
ReplyDeleteReb Yehuda Levenberg, Reb Moshe Shimon Shapiro, Reb Eliyahu Levine, along with the entire older generation of Talmidei Chachamim weren't there. The younger generation, like Reb Yitzchok Miller, Reb Eliyahu Yagid, and Reb Avrohom Levine, were also not there.
Some kids got souvenirs when they toured the police station. I don't think it's really newsworthy.
You had a hava amina that a talmid chochom would be there?!
DeleteMy point was, the unimportant people do unimportant things like lighting Menorahs where nobody needs them.
DeleteIt is not a sign of honor to have your picture there.
Lakewood township is farcocked!
ReplyDeleteStop posting fake news about the bird flu. You most likely are over the cheit of spreading unnecessary fear. You only need seichel to realize it is all lies to spread fear and order lockdowns and push another vaccine. Perfect timing before Trump’s inauguration.
ReplyDeleteDon’t be stupid.
Didn’t you learn from the Covid debacle?
I did learn from the COVID debacle. I know many people who died from it. What about you?
DeleteTrump on the brain. Seriously. Why would anyone believe that???? What does a disease have to do with it?
ReplyDeleteThose who want a vaccine will take one of they ever make one, everyone else won't, and there will never be another lockdown anyway. So who cares?
False, there are those who said a year after covid lets not argue about masks as it will never be mandated again lo and behold masks came back with mandates in healthcare facilities etc. Like explain why someone going to an orthopedic doctor required a mask!
