- Drone launched from Yemen struck an open area near the southern coastal city of Ashkelon
- Israeli official: "Hamas reneged on the conditions that led to the renewal of negotiations and now demands an end to the war."
- Hamas, in an official statement: "Negotiations for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange continued in Doha, with Qatari and Egyptian mediation in a serious manner. The movement showed responsibility and flexibility, but Israel posed new issues and conditions related to the withdrawal, ceasefire, prisoners, and return of the displaced, which delayed the achievement of an achievable agreement."
- Newly appointed Sephardic Chief Rabbi David Yosef says Israel has a responsibility to release terrorists, even those convicted of carrying out mass murders, in order to win the freedom of hostages being held in Gaza
- IDF forces destroyed two 2-kilometer-long offensive approach tunnels in the center and south of the Gaza Strip. Both tunnels are branched and have booby-trapped exit shafts.
- Israel Defense Minister Katz on a visit to the Philadelphi Corridor in Gaza: "Security control in Gaza will remain in the hands of the IDF - there will be no Hams in power here and no Hams as a military power here: We will also ensure that there will be buffer zones and control positions in Gaza - and at the same time we will work to release all the hostages home and defeat Hams.”
