    1. Yes they were Moser nefesh to almost be stuck in Trenton in order to pass the budget. The 7 million coming to Lakewood will not make a dent at all in anyone's property taxes.
Thank you askanim for fooling everyone on the false hope of tuition relief

  4. It is a chutzpah that the stores charge a huge markup on bags. The bags don’t cost them more than 5 cents each and they make money from ads and still charge 15-20 cents.

    1. So what? Your house doesnt cost 1 million dollars to build, yet it is reasonable to sell it for such. Since when are stores supposed to be non profit? Again either bring your own or buy it. If its not worth it then don't pay for it.

  5. The stores didn't charge for bags or boxes before the ban on plastic bags they are taking advantage of the new rule by charging for boxes.
People are running in and out of stores bot everyone has a bag with them at all times. Look around how many people are carrying items out of stores .
This bag ban is insane and that's what happens when you vote democrats they have no problem killing babies but pretend to care about the environment

  8. Huh what shaychus? Stores never charged for bags before the ban so what changed now? Suddenly boxes cost money too. So you make a $400 order and the way to thank you for the business is to add on another $8 for boxes🙄

  9. Nobody is suggesting stores should be non profit but there is such a concept as a business expense for customer service and this wouldn’t even cost them much if anything. I never saw a store that charges a surcharge for lights and ac, or for using the bathroom, according to your logic they should profit off that too.

    1. I am not saying they should, I am saying they are entitled to. If you want to convince them that for customer service reasons they shouldn't charge for bags, then go for it. But there is no chutzpah or genevah in them deciding that they want to charge for it.
