    1. Its not.
Everyone is just trying to figure out a way to make sure that if chas veshalom someone forgets the baby in the car, its life can still be saved. If you can think of a better way, please let everyone know.

    2. Her hands are already full attending to the children. We cannot impose another duty on her.

    4. What a callous question/insinuation. When people's lives are at risk, everyone has to step up, step in and do whatever they can to save lives.

Stop shouting at everyone and start helping.

  2. It's not dumbbell, just trying to avoid another tragedy. What's the problem the day care owners aren't grabbing end money as it is to take a extra minute of their effort to prevent a tragedy???

  4. Horrible tragedy, and impossible (and difficult) to put ourselves in the family’s place, and to know what they’re going through, they should have a Nechama and know of no more Tza’ar.
Not that we can ever understand why something happened, and just a thought, but maybe, while the Chaburos and Kollelim want to encourage people to get there on time for Seder, and have Shemiras Sedorim incentives, allowing a bit more extra time for people to get there might help drivers slow down a bit and give them a bit more time and Menuchas Hanefesh to drive safely and make sure they take care of everything they have to do, and not have to rush in, as much as the extra learning time is invaluable, but saving one life is worth so much more…
We should hear Besuros Tovos and never have to hear about any more tragedies.

    1. Small correction:
Extra Learning time is worth more than saving a life. It is just that, on a practical level, a person must stop learning to save a life. But that is not because it has a greater value.

      See Taz.

  5. Onus on morah to call, and each parent to call each other. Even if it means time off from Seder.

    2. By the way, my day camp.in Brooklyn took us to Allaire a long long time ago.
So I'm biased to see this kind of State money being wasted.

  6. Fact Morahs have saved Ives by contacting parents who ended up forgetting their child.
They are the last line of defense if C'V a child is left in a car. Once a parent forgets they may not remember untill they either get back or too late. A morah notices the kid us not there and will call the parents.
