- An 81-year-old man riding a battery powered four-wheel mobile scooter was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Jackson on Monday night The pickup hit the Jackson man at about 9:25 p.m. near the corner of Jackson Mills Road and Harmony Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified pending family notification. Police noted the area is dimly lit and the man on the scooter was wearing dark clothing. NJ
