Birosi kol or al tila benuya....
ReplyDeleteOnly wesgate needs to suffer
I'm pretty sure Westgate has a shul, but I might be wrong. I'm from Lakewood, not Westgate.
DeleteWith this board everything passes. Westgate should present their plan now!
DeleteThe anti WG shul ppl are too well connected to the corrupt powers that be...
DeleteNow the husstle and bustle and expense of the city were brought here due to total lack of foresight and planning. Just building and more building with variances issued like candy, with no regard for anything else.
ReplyDeleteWestgate should secede from Lakewood and make their own town with their own zoning. Then they could build a shul on every corner.
ReplyDeleteThe planning and zoning are responsible for the traffic. This is the shtick they play by promising it will only be a shabbos shul etc before you know it there's card parking on both sides of the street. Look at Drake and Whiteville at the school there is no room to drive and cars are parked on central Ave which is dangerous pushing strollers into the roadway. But during the application you would think only a certain amount of cars would park and no need to worry.
ReplyDeleteThis happens every time with the applications the traffic is played down but in reality it's always a mess.
Yeah.. They keep using the same old excuse that it's only for Shabbos or it's only for neighbors that walk and won't use cars or they promise that there won't be a simcha hall or blah blah blah...
DeleteWe all know what's going on. These Board members could care less!
The board members do care about who's going to invite them to which wedding and which retreat.
DeleteAbout which k-nocker is going to push them under the table
Dare the decent t z i b b u r to deny and defy , as everything before and when they approve they are told it's a zchus
DeleteThose boys grasped Swifter than their parents the one and only effective means of styming overdevelopment and cultural havoc. The ones who fought around a year and half ago at Oak and Vine against the overrunning
ReplyDeleteChassidim. They were castigated and demonized for bad character.
Well-there may have been something to it- however turned out once again to be more ahead of the game
You are living in dreamland.
DeleteThose boys were not protesting against Chassidim, they were protesting against ONE person, who has lived in Lakewood for many years before the Chassidim arrived.
And they did it at the behest of some of the corrupt askanim.
It was a terrible thing to do.
Some say that Matza is Gebroks because it has water in the ingredients.
