  9. Poor turnout in Lakewood, if don't vote, you don't count.

  10. Very low turnout in Lakewood many sat out because of שב ואל תעשה. If Vaad would have backed Jack you would have seen another 10 thousand votes.

    1. It's less simple than that comment.
His lt. Gubernatorial running mate said on a phone call with a noted
Jewish activist that they regret his doctor assisted suicide vote and they now oppose it
as well as several other decent comments he made during that campaign
      he has a past that
      is definitely checkered though

  13. If the VAAD would have supported Ciatrarreli we ever und be worse off because they would have him in their pocket for their special interests. If he wins without VAAD support or even if he loses the המון עם of Lakewood won!

    1. Yup,very low turnout because the vaad went against the will of the people and forced people to stay home.
They should all resign in shame and dismantle the corrupt vaad that is a kitrug every day it exists.

    2. Your claim that the Va'ad exists needs serious evidence.
      Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.

    3. "Resign in shame"? No one ever hired or appointed them to begin with. Their power is because people confuse them with the Vaad who helps children get into schools, but they are 2 totally different groups of people

  18. Why did the olam approve the new fire trucks and spend more tax money after they raised taxes it is idiotic. People have to be aware of what they vote for
dont complain when you get your tax bill

    1. Lakewood has grown by leaps and bounds and the fire dept. has to keep up with demand. For our safety we need to have more fire equipment in our growing town. If your tax bill is too high, skip your Thursday night cholent and keep your simchos simple for starters.

    3. Would you then complain when fire response is too slow?

      Delete
    4. The fire dept has wasted millions of tax dollars creating new paid positions and other spending for benefits after raising taxes for the last 10 years they have a surplus but instead squeeze more money out of the tax payers. And response time has still been slow regardless stop with the fear mongering in order to keep taking hard earned money

    5. because of the wonderful building in this town the fire dept needs narrower trucks to get down the streets. I voted "NO" because its not my responsibility to pay for irresponsible building that was allowed in this town! but people don't know why they need a new a truck they don't do a drop of research. How many people that voted for Murphy or were שב ואל תעשה know there is an actual bag ban that is signed into law (MAY 4 2022) more extreme than the NY law not allowing any throw away bags including paper and not allowing store owners to offer a bag for a fee it is the most "Progressive" ban in the entire country! The VAAD will now blame "us" for the next 4 years they have their man Murphy who I'm sure is livid at Lakewood - did the Vaad really think people were going to listen? did Lakewood listen by Corzine? this was a really bad decision on their part!

  19. I am on the vaad and I will not resign. I represent the oilam hatorah in Lakewood and will not be bullied by some bitter comments here

    ReplyDelete

    1. As a resident of Lakewood and a member of the oilam hatorah for over 40 years, I always followed the Vaad voting recommendations. It saved me the job of actually doing the research and thinking for myself. However, about 10 years ago, I saw how our beautiful town was being ruined by our elected officials looking the other way or issuing variances right and left when builders went against zoning laws or requested variances. Our beautiful town became uglier and uglier with more and more developments going up without following any rules. The developments went up without any preplanning of infrastructure or utilities. And they all laughed their way to the bank. I have stopped trusting the vaad and now I think for myself and make my own decisions, usually against vaad reccommendations.

    2. LOL!! You dont have to resign. The Vaad is officially Dead. Together with Virginias blow.

  20. Who cares who the vaad endorsed? We don’t want their endorsement. The oilam showed by overwhelming numbers that we couldn’t care less what the vaad says.

  22. Anonymous @6:12AM if you're in the aad and represent us why don't you tell us oyuname?? And the names if the other members in the Vaad. Why is it a secret in this town as to who the Vaad is? Shouldn't we be able to discuss issues we have with the Vaad?? Anyone I asked yesterday who the Vaad is had no clue. They were voting for Murphy just cuz the Vaad said so. When I stumped them they said I was totally right!!!

  23. You don’t have to know who the vaad is. Just do as we say. That is the koach of achdus in our community.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If the VAAD really had the tzibbur's interests in mind there would be elections or some other democratic way to select its members. Instead they are self-appointed blowhards. Why anyone would listen to these con-artists is beyond me.

It is hard to compare this election in a off year to when Trump ran however the bad apples VAAD is at fault for the low turnout with all the propaganda and shtik they did using the poop as to play mind games with lakewood and that fake news letter they put out against Ciattareli when he came to campaign in bmg in the end people stayed home. Same thing in Jackson despite big meetings the olam did not listen or show up.

Agudah NJ and the Vaad should publicly resign in shame you lost any right to represent the orthodox community.

Now we see Jacks winning or only‏7000 ‏‎ votes behind.‎
    That’s a long way from ‎‏10‏‎ ‎‏ ‏points.‎
    Stop the lies now!!!‎
Stop endorsing murderers like murphy ‎‏– ‏‎ assisted suicide and abortions rights activist among ‎his many other crimes.‎
Where is Chaim Aruchim advocating for life – yet endorsing a murderer?‎
    Can you explain that one?‎
Shame on Avi! Shame on Agudah!‎
We see your true colors - Murder means nothing to you!‎
    Egg on Avi’s face please‏!!!‏

P.S. I don’t care if there in no eruv in Jackson. Stop endorsing murderers, that what a true ‎Torah Jew cares about!!!!!‎
If Murphy wins c”v, by a few thousand votes, you are plainly the guilty ones for endorsing and ‎putting a “murderer” in power? Did you think this through at all? Who is guiding you? ‎

Republican lieutenant gubernatorial running mate who abstained from DAa stated that they are opposed now

I meant that comment is asinine as stated previously his lieutenant governor tutorial running mate Center they are they now pose. Assisted suicide. Second of all is if this issue was important to them they should have brought it to the attention of the candidates they could easily but its attention to Kenzie's and it made it it made it a big issue where were they?
