Physician: In the past 2-3 weeks the Lakewood Kehilla has seen several new cases of COVID-19 illness, now about 20 cases. Most, but not all, have been connected to infected individuals coming to Lakewood from Florida. In addition, it is reported that the Deal, NJ community now has some 40 new cases of illness since last week. These cases are connected to infected individuals who have come to Deal from Brooklyn.

-Murphy: Death count not from today: Sadly, we must report an additional confirmed 20 COVID19 deaths. - Quality Frozen Foods Acquired by Private Investor  a local businessman in Brooklyn has reportedly acquired Quality Foods for an undisclosed amount. Sources told Kosher Today that the sale was finalized on June 30th and that the company was undergoing major changes including a potential move of its warehouse from Brooklyn to a location in New Jersey.

-N.J. has started paying the extended 20 weeks of unemployment benefits. Due to the high unemployment rate from the coronavirus crisis, New Jersey announced earlier this month that many workers will be eligible for an additional 20 weeks of unemployment benefits.
