-Shuls in LA are closed effective immediately as are gyms and indoor businesses due to a rise in Covid19 cases

- 2 new positive cases in Lakewood totals 2623/188
-NJ 231 new positive cases and 22 deaths.

- Out of state travelers arriving in NY from high Covid19 states must provide their contact information upon arrival at the airport. If they fail to provide they will receive a summons with a $2000 fine.

-BD’E — Harav Avraham Mordechai Hakohein Isbee, Zt”l
 Petirah of Harav Avraham Mordechai Hakohein Isbee, zt”l, who served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Gerrer Yeshiva Beis Yisrael in Ashdod. He was 79 years old.
Rav Avraham Mordechai’s family hailed from Detroit, Michigan, where his paternal grandfather, Reb Nechemia Isbee, settled a century ago. Reb Nechemia imbued his family with his great mesiras nefesh for Yiddishkeit as he raised an illustrious family of bnei Torah in the wilderness of America. His son, Rav Leible, went to learn in the great yeshivos of Europe, and his daughter, Rebbitzen Shifra, married Harav Gedalia Schorr, zt”l. Reb Yaakov Isbee raised his family in the same manner, sending his son Avraham Mordechai to learn in Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland.His levayah was held Monday morning in Yerushalayim, and kevurah was on Har Hamenuchos. - Chasdei Hshem Reb Yossel Bursztyn, Rosh Yeshiva, and Reb Eli Bursztyn, Magid Shiur, of Mesivta of Lakewood, both of whom were previously hospitalized in critical condition with Coronavirus, seen last night at a Bar Mitzvah in good health. (LNN)

  1. Boruch Hashem, its been quiet in the comments these last few days, so many crises were probably resolved:
    1 - The BMG students probably got their govt grant money
    2 - The LSTA probably returned the $150 to the parents
    3 - The Hershel election is over
    4 - The bla bla bla guy stopped commenting
    5 - Corona is over so the masering on shuls stopped
    6 - Westgate shul crisis was somehow resolved.

    We need to start discussing the school lunch crisis. Traffic, always running out of stuff, not enough healthy foods, everyone getting fat from these foods, etc.

  2. BMG has still not distributed the stimulus funds given to them for the purpose of distributing the monies to their students. So many talmidim have told me that they're still waiting to get it. What's the long hold-up about??
