Email sent out last night from a local day camp:
ReplyDeleteWe're quite excited and looking forward to the first day of ***! Getting ready for this season has involved challenges like we've never seen before and we are working hard to give our campers an amazing, safe and fun summer in true .....### Please join us in davening for siyata dishmaya that our campers and staff will stay safe and healthy throughout the season.
We received a notice from several prominent Lakewood doctors today that we'd like to bring to your attention. The notice was sent by Dr Shanik, Dr Kaminetzky, Dr. Lebowitz and Dr. Friedman of CHEMED. As you may have heard, several cases have developed in Lakewood over the last few days that were all traced to people coming from hotspots such as Florida, California, Israel, Texas, etc. As a precaution to prevent a resurgence, our doctors are asking that anyone who has been to any hotspots should quarantine for 14 days before attending camp. A corona test is not effective before 10-14 days and can't be relied on. If campers or staff have tested positive for antibodies through a reliable test and have no symptoms and are feeling completely well, it is ok for them to come to camp.
Please take this precaution seriously so we can IYH have a safe season! Any questions can be addressed to ***@***

ReplyDeleteJust met a very nice yungerman in a store. He asked me if I was Harold Herskowitz. I said yes I am. He said I should consider running again and he would vote for me. I asked him if he got his mail in ballots and he said he did but he threw them away. The only way we are going to finally make a change and take back our town for the klal is if we spread the word to go vote tomorrow. If you haven't already voted by mail please go to one of the 9 polling stations that you were told Is your voting place. I am sure many remember the disappointment we had when we lost by only a few votes on 2010. Everyone told me they woke up the next morning realizing that nothing will be getting better. And it didn't.
ReplyDeletePlease vote only Harold Herskowitz for the township committee. The more votes I get, the better chance we have to make Lakewood a better place for all of us. Please spread the word to everyone you can right now
If you Harold didnt bother spreading the word - no mailings, no lawn signs, no campaign etc etc why are you giving us the job to do
ReplyDeleteYes. I voted for you. But why in the world do you think you will win when you did almost zero campaigning?
Because traditional campaigning is both phony and ignored. The only campaign ads that get attention are negative ones. This campaign is not about attacking the past wrongdoing or inaction of our current committee. Although it cannot fully be ignored, it is not the focus. We are about making positive changes and being a voice for everyone on the committee . So all that leaves is me making ads about how great I am? It's not about me. It's not about disingenuous promises to widen route nine and eliminate property taxes. It's a out listening to the klal and doing what is best for all of us and ending much of the aiva we have allowed to grow these last few years. Please go vote tomorrow if you didn't vote by mail. And when we recover from the challenges of the last few months, we can face a brighter future for once.
DeleteNo, its about getting the message out to as many people as possible and PLASTERING it into their faces. Thats why the Vaad advertised in multiple publications 3 - 4 weeks in a row and thats the basis of why the world spends billions on advertising. I thought you are a businessman and you'd understand to that
Delete$ case s today, 5 yesterday, 9 Friday, 10 Thursday etc. in the frum community or not?
ReplyDeleteA little clarity please!
Is it better for the kids to get heatstroke so that someone could feel good by closing the water fountains? Open the water fountains the kids need it, the risk of heatstroke is grater then getting Coivd
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you hefkervelt for being the only website brave enough to help spread the message of my campaign. Thank you for being the only news site in Lakewood without a personal one sided agenda.
ReplyDeleteTy HH for spam texting me with hundreds of other numbers please think next time
