-The Lakewood Board of Education approved a plan for reopening schools for in-person instruction on a regular five-day week schedule. Schools will open September 4th.
The plan will cost the district an additional $2 million dollars to add space with modular classrooms and dividers for social distancing. Officials said they are opening so that parents will not be out of work. The local teachers union opposed the reopening plan.

DeleteI hear. If people would have seen another 15 cars lined up in from of they they would not driven off rather than wait for 25 minutes in line in vain. I guess I’ll rent a u-haul next week, wait first in line, pick up every last box for my “neighbood” bring it all back to my block, and charge a $5 pickup fee per box for the convenience of not having to drive out of the neighborhood for the pickup.
