  2. I got the flyer from the vaad on who to vote. Who are the people behind the vaad? Who are the rabbinim behind the vaad? There is not a single name or signature on that paper.

It's a scam that the entire Lakewood oilam will go vote for the people listed there because it's published without knowing that the gedolim are really backing those choices.

I question if the gedolim are aware of the facts and are supporting the vaad's choices.

It makes sense that we should vote for Moshe Raitzik and the three "fix the formula" BOE candidates. Perhaps we need gedolim to sign on these candidates, and send out a paper similar to the vaad's to the entire lakewood community. That would be the only way to get the people to vote for them. Most people are completely unaware of the issues in this town and that there is a need for change.

    1. The corrupt Lakewood media is bought off and they won't report the truth or what is really best for all lakewood residents
The watsappp chat is pushing the same candidates as the Vaad while pretending that the vaad dosent exist

  4. Are you going to say the same reason why we don't say YK Kotton Erev RC Teves? Because YK just passed? What about by Erev RC Iyar, also no YK Kotton because YK just passed?
Say the correct answer! We don't say YK Kotton by חטאת. Before RC חשון, טבת, אייר, תשרי. As it is a time of Happiness, as most don't say Tachanun, & תשרי because we will have a real YK in 10 days!
Actually, הג"ר יהושע Krupenia tried to say יו"כ before ר"ח מרחשון because he does say תחנון in latter part of תשרי, but ר' חיים קניבסקי Paskened, No יו"כ קטן even in Lakewood!

    1. Most do say תחנון if you don't count all the people who don't count וד"ל. (even in EY the Chazon Ish and R' Chaim Kanievsky said תחנון and said the the luach from R Tikutchinsky is too meikil with תחנון, so its not just Lakewood like your comment suggests), but I do agree that it seems that the same people who were saying יו"כ קטן were also not saying תחנון at the end of תשרי so the מנהג developed accordingly.

BTW I seem to remember reading the exact opposite that R' Chaim Kanievsky ruled that since we say תחנון at the end of תשרי so יו"כ קטן could be said but I have to try to find where I saw that.

We all know הלכה עשו שונא ליעקב it's a metzius was it wise to publicize a voice-mail of someone's private comment for a good headline and have them fired which will only bring major sinas yisroel against us?
There is no accountability for these click bates and some people are not only missing seichel but are playing with fire endangering the olam

  9. There's no daas Torah on the local elections if you vote for the status quo you are making life worse for others by letting the corruption continue which we all see with our own eyes. Every minute in traffic wasted is on Menashe and Meir yes they were here for 20 years and ruined the town by helping their buddies..they had the chutzpah to raise taxes in poor local residents and voted themselves a 20k raise. Sick and disgusting to let this go on.
Vote them out you owe it to the klal
