A letter signed by leading Israeli Roshei Yeshiva is calling on American citizens living in Eretz Yisroel to vote in this presidential elections. The letter does not endorse any candidate but it is very obvious whom they mean. So far there's hasn't been any public letter from the Moetzes in America about this important election. The Satmar rebbe has publicly endored Trump. Generaly over 90% of the frum community have voted for Trump in the Last 2 elections with Lakewood getting the highest margins earning the title as the Trumpiest town in New Jersey.
The letter reads: As we stand in the brink of a pivotal election in the United states we must recognize that this is not just another political event it is a moment of profound significance for klal yisroel and Eretz yisroel. The outcome of this election could impact not only the Torah community in the US but the safety and security of eretz Yisroel. Given the current circumstances it us crucial that we consider how these choices will effect our future our values we hold dear and the safety and security of our brethren. Now is not the time to be passive or indifferent each one of us has a obligation to engage in the democratic process. participation in this election is not just a civic duty but a moral obligation every eligible voter must step forward and make their voice heard a d we encourage everyone to inspire others to do the same.Your vote carries weight it is a chance to advocate for the needs of the shonrei Torah umitzvos and the Jewish nation as a whole.Let us approach this election with the seriousness it deserves, understanding that our collective efforts cab lead to a positive impact for acheinu bnei yisroel wherever they reside. Signed by Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlitaR"Y Slabodka, Rav Lazer Yudel Finkel shlita R"Y Mir, Rav Dovid Cohen shlita R"Y Chevron, Rav Yehosua Eichenstein shlita R"Y Yad Aaron
Plus, President Trump will give money to yeshivot.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, the Gedolim forbid women to vote.
ReplyDeleteI can't forget something I never knew and certainly isn't true as an across board statement
DeleteSource for this?
DeleteFahr gelt memeg nushim voting.
DeleteOf course, the gelt doesn't come down to the hamon-am.
R G Edelstein told everybody to follow R Shmuel shlita.Who in turn told everybody back then to vote against Hillary.Who ironically was levels better than Kamala
ReplyDeleteI am actually very confused to what they are referring to. If they are referring to the presidential election and to vote for Trump than they are sadly missing some critical information. The vast majority of charedi Americans live in states where whom they vote for in the presidential election makes absolutely no difference. Even if every single charedi adult votes for Trump, Harris is still going to win both NY and NJ. There is no poll showing it even close. A vote for some senate and House elections where the outcome is less clear is much more consequential then a vote in the presidential election.
ReplyDeleteIgnore the polls and follow daas torah.
DeleteMany, many American Jews are eligible to vote in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida and Ohio. Every vote counts.
DeleteAnd Trump is making a play for NY, especially now that the Satmar Rebbes endorsed him. One never knows....
The satmar rebbe of Monroe in NY is endorsing Trump because of what the Democrat including the NY governor Kathy Hochul have threatened the gezeiras chinuch on New York yeshivos
DeleteTrump promised to take care of it federally so much for the NY and NJ democrats
That is why everyone is voting for Trump even in New York
Many many jews are indeed eligible to vote in those states. It is still very very strange to address the miut sheoni matzoi in an open letter to all American jews. Call me an apikores but is it possible perhaps the gedolim of Ey don't understand the metzius in America.
DeleteMaybe commenters on Hefkervelt don't understand the metzius in America.
DeleteMaybe they have thoughts, ideas, and plans that you have not thought of at all. Perhaps things aren't exactly as they seem.
Besides, the letter doesn't say which candidate to vote for, the answer isn't obvious.
Regarding woman voting, perhaps your confusing this with the tzioni local city elections
