    2. Yes. In Lakewood. But apparently their calculation forgot didn’t include one kid that’s under 19. Not sure who to contact about it?

    3. Do you have regular ebt or got a pebt card?

    4. I have a regular card. The extra one-time P-EBT benefits were added onto to the account this morning for my eligible children, minus one.

    5. Just saw the following on the FAQ page:

“The Department of Human Services is working with schools to identify students who were receiving free- or reduced-price meals as of March 18, 2020. If your school submitted the information, it will be issued to you automatically.”

“Benefits will be issued at a later time for eligible children whose schools did not submit the necessary information.”

    7. Anon 8:21,

Your school should’ve sent in the necessary info to the state, which will automatically trigger a physical card issued, and sent via the usps mail system, to your family. Those mailings will take place next week. Bon Apetite!

  2. Must be fun writing Executive Orders.

  3. Oh, great. Another loosely defined executive order. Get ready for more selective enforcement.

  6. This has obviously become political, and is no longer based on science nor medicine. The increase in cases is because as things open up, we are mingling more and spreading the disease. Had they never done the shutdown we would've been over this virus already.
It's time to reign in the never endless worthless decrees. We live in a democracy where elected legislatures rule, no a monarchy. You can't have an emergency for six months. I hope the lawsuits fly.

    2. Just like Sweden. Economy indererd, as well as the most amount of cases. Good idea. You may be competition for Kanye and Donald for the presidency.

    3. How about a vote by state legislators?
Emergency is 30 days, maybe another 30. But after that, should be voted on.

Of course, legislators too feckless to object.
Have you heard one statement from any?

    4. Correction: We USED TO live in a democracy. What really bothers me is not the dictator himself; dictators will be dictators. It's the people who totally submit.

  7. This is pure theater. King Phillip admits it is unenforceable and says you don’t have to wear one unless you are in a large group and can’t social distance. We do that already. This is just to distract from the NJ_MVC fiasco.

    1. I don't think water fountains should be open but I also don't want my children to be at risk for heatstroke. After much deliberation and consultation with a variety of experts in the relevant fields, I believe I have discovered a solution to this conundrum. It is my honor and privileged to share it with all other concerned parents.

I SEND MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!!
On very hot days I send them with two water bottles.

The brilliance of this solution is that it allows the water fountains to remain closed and at the same time it drastically reduces the risk of heat stroke.

If there are any other similar life threatening issues troubling you, feel free to reach out to me, I may be able to work out solutions to those as well.

    2. Brilliant solution! BTW, it would be advisable to send W.A.T.E.R B.O.T.T.L.E.S with an additional utility accessory, namely C.U.P.S. so that when they do a chesed with a poor deprived friend who does not have a WATER BOTTLE, they don't have to share G.E.R.M.S.

  10. The Lakewood politicians have no shame to go on a sagged photo op and give out water at the DMV they did nothing for the people of the town who suffered during the pandemic no leadership and now they pretend to show how angry they are about long lines at the dmv. This is SICK
