- Lakewood doctors: Any person who visits those areas with a significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases, which include Florida, Texas, Arizona, and California, are at increased risk of contracting COVID-19 and bringing it back to Lakewood and should, therefore, quarantine for two weeks upon returning to Lakewood. In addition, any guests from those areas of rapidly increasing infection must also quarantine for two weeks upon arrival to the Lakewood community. A COVID-19 negative test on returning from one of these high COVID-19 areas is not a substitute for a 14 day quarantine. A negative test could simply be due to a test being performed too early in the 14 day incubation period.
We ask the kehilla to please continue being vigilant so that we do not C”V reverse the tremendous strides that we have made in the past few weeks in opening our community.

-Murphy: Indoor environments where it’s impossible to wear masks, or where people are sedentary for long periods of time without masks – such as gyms, bars, and restaurants – remain the MOST DANGEROUS in terms of transmission. We’ll get there – based on data and health metrics.

All the more so in a time like this, when so many children have been away from yeshivah for so many months. 1. Schools charged parents for Sunday busing and made the checks out directly to the bus companies, they should give back this money to the parents since they did not provide the service.

  3. FREE LUNCHES. FREE LUNCHES. FREE LUNCHES.

We got used to free lunches including Shabbos boxes that the government is paying for.

We also just got a new benefit as listed below:

Great great job benefit. Now you get 85% of pay for 12 weeks for caring for......
Instead of ONLY $3,900 now its a whopping $10,572.
Guess who is paying for all these benefits??
We. The consumer. When you go to the store and prices are up don't ask why. The only recourse you may have is to make sure you take advantage of this benefit at least once a year to make up for thee higher prices.

So I guess there are NO free lunches. Again, NO FREE LUNCHES.

    5. Anon 11:31,

How can you make jokes at another person's expense? The government sent money to these students, and paid BMG close to 3 million dollars to have the privilege of administering the disbursal to its own students. The big question is what's BMG's excuse for taking so long to give people their money, when almost every other college in America has already finished the job??

    7. Get your facts straight. BMG has not yet received the money. They still have started to give out funds by laying it out from their own funds.
