  1. I don’t believe the story about the store manger. Not true.

  2. My freind had their box unpacked after the manager noticed it was not from the store. It is a chutzpa that the stores are charging for the boxes in the first place only because they are no longer providing shopping bags. They never charged before the plastic bag ban but now are taking advantage of it to force people to pay for the boxes.

    1. Your story doesn't make sense. No store manager would anger a customer like that and lose business. On several occasions, I've used a box from a different store, and nobody ever had a problem. There's usually a cart right next to my car, so I place the box which is already in my trunk into the cart and bring it in. No reason to waste yiddishe gelt, even if it's only 1 or 2 dollars. There's goota be more to the story...

  3. They should do something like every $50 entitles you to one free box. it's good business, and feels petty when I spend $300 on a big shopping and they penny pinch me for a piece of cardboard. One store will take my advice and I"h see tremendous ashirus.

  4. Could someone explain why suddenly a box costs a dollar? And the bag the store pays 5 cents for costs 20 cents. Could someone explain?

  5. Why is this the business of the Energy Department?

  6. Stores charge for boxes because we pay. If we all got together and only patronized those that don't, they'd all follow suit.

  7. There are no stores that don’t charge for boxes so if you boycott those that do you won’t have what to eat.

  10. Apparently, the Agudahs view per a recent interview - the bag ban is a joke - Had Ciattarelli actually ran on something that resonates with the average tax payer he may actually be the governor today... These big org. and politicians are completely out of touch with the average joe -Trump in 2016 tapped into the average joe who was upset at illegal immigrants stealing jobs and programs or the Muslims coming into the country unchecked. bags may seem like a small nuisance but when it affects people pretty much every single day of their lives it ain't so small of an issue anymore..

    2. Like 60 percent of Americans pay no income tax yet they are always talking about how it can be lowered.. What exactly makes something a Big issue? When theyanage to get a couple of $ for some program oh wow! Is it always about the exact dollar amount? The bag ban is a huge inconvenience or daily expense for every single person in this state - I think it's a pretty big issue - getting 250.00 rebates for every family agudah would be proud to accomplish - the boxes and bags may easily add up to that a year...
