  2. How are parents forced to come down to a school this is intrusion into their lives. It should be greatly encouraged but why treat parents Iike children making it mandatory to show up for something they were not involved with and were not given any opportunity to present their side.
    This is unprecedented.

    1. If you send your kids to a school you have to follow the schools policy. If you don't believe in it, go to another school. Period.

    2. A school has to be reasonable this is intrusion, should parents demand all roshei mosdos and board members submit their phones as well this is not how you treat parents.

    3. The school feels it's vital for the kids chinuch to hear what they have to say. What goes on in the home is a big part of a childs chinuch.

    4. What's so intrusive about requiring parents to attend a presentation? You find time to do everything else, you'll find time for this.

    5. Nobody is asking anyone to submit their phone. Obviously you have some embarrassing things to hide. All they ask is that you have a filter, and it's too bad if that filter blocks TikTok or whatever your lastest mishigas is.

    6. Why are you treating this like a trial, "not given any opportunity to present their side"?

  3. I don't send to the cheder. But it's understandable. You wouldn't want your son in a class where the mother doesn't cover her hair or wears pants. People look at internet the same way. Yes people have it, but there needs to be awareness.

  4. My child was exposed to bad stuff because a boy in his class has a mother who is not that bright and bought a smartphone thinking what could go wrong. (She is just as devastated as I am)
Many parents are not that bright and need rules like children.
