  1. Let's get something clear.
Nobody really suffers from Lake Terrace's supposed crimes. Even if Clayton would be right, it is a victimless crime.

This reminds me of the HOA's in Florida, where bored people search for violations to bother people.

Leave LT alone, we all need another hall. Nobody is really bothered by the hall. The only ones that care are those who are unhappy to see Yidden happy. Some of those grinches happen to be Jewish, and may even wear shtreimlach. But their hearts are filled with hate.

    1. Anon 7:15,

I hate when people stick their smelly nose into an argument they clearly know nothing about and attempt to justify the aveirah by proclaiming that there aren't really any victims anyway. Who is this mechutzaf that thinks he can pass judgement on yenem's tzaar without talking to him first and understanding the tainos? And then to matter-of-factly claim that yenem is stam looking for trouble because he's a bored soul or he’s filled with hate like haman?! You sound like a real tippish when you claim that clayton, which probably spent tens of thousands of dollars, if not a lot more on lawyers over the past two years, did so just because he's bored like your HOA friends in Florida??

You gotta be out of your mind or smoking something... And by the way, I have no problem passing judgement on someone like you when I see how easy you do it on others. You should think about checking yourself into rehab.

    2. Interesting point.
Clayton has publicized their claims on the Internet, whereas LT has not said a thing in public.
Yet, Clayton can come here and whine that 'people don't know their taanos'. Poor kid! So much tza'ar! Bwah! Bwah! Bwah!
A huge tzibbur needs a hall, and Clayton is fighting with a huge Tzibbur, when they cannot even articulate why it's their business.

You’re wrong. There is no huge tzibbur that needs LT. Especially not when it’s במקום שחב לאחריני. We got plenty of other halls and several more in the pipeline.

It must be that you’re concerned about the tzibbur of thousands of mexicans that use LT every weekend and Yom Tov for their concerts and booze parties. You know, the ones that have the cops called on them all the time for the fights and stabbings.
Yeah, you’re a real tzaddik for thinking about them.

    4. To Anon 5:50. Where has Clayton publicized their claim on the internet? I'd like to read it so I can get a better understanding of what's going on. Where online can I see it?

    5. Berel,
Anon 5:50 won't answer you because he doesn't want to know what's really been going on. He's just another bored basher that gets tongue tied when asked for the proof to back up his nonsense.

  2. FYI. AS of now, there are another seven huge halls opening in Lakewood very soon. We don't need Lake Terrace if they have no right to operate a banquet hall in that area. Let's do things the kosher way.

    1. And those upcoming halls will have all the legal requirements? Can't wait to see all the traffic on the 9 with everyone trying to go town to oak ..

  3. It makes no sense that halls in schools in residential neighborhoods are acceptable while Lake Terrace is not .it is in a commercial zone which is the ideal location for such a venue .

  5. FAA’s reporting comes straight from the court documents and sworn affidavits. It’s quite clear what’s going on there. It’s not right what the neighbors are forced to go through. We all know it.

  6. We gotta stop renting out our halls to out of towners. Lakewood families can’t find get a date because everything is booked by out of towners. Enough of this. People should also stop using the new cheder until they fix up the parking situation. Maybe we should boycott both halls, it’s extremely inconvenient, dangerous and a huge breach of tznius and it’s time for us to take a stand and boycott those halls.

    2. The long walk is a safety issue and tznius as ladies walk alone in the dark along the building. Older people can't walk so far especially in bad weather. But people are desperate for halls and have no choice. There should be a shuttle or valet service.

  7. If you mention every dinner why didn’t you also mention that yeshiva ketana’s dinner was tonight?

  8. The hall should pay for valet
