What makes you think you own this town to decide what could and what cant happen here

    2. This is not the Lakewood of 1970. This is the new reality. It took about 50 years. Lakewood is now a city, and it's time for BMG to move on, like R' Aharon did from Brooklyn. Lamenting about the past, doesn't fix any issues.

    3. @ 10:44, as a Lakewood resident for over 40 years, I must say your comment is sad, but true :( We have to face reality and cherish the good memories of higher ruchniyus and even better gashmiyus that we once had in a town we miss very much.

    4. Or we can elevate the ruchniyos despite the gashmiyas, and leave it for those that are interested in it. The same way we have adapted to using technology in our lives, and can use it to boost ruchniyas, so too with the gashmiyos around us.

    1. Weekend box, Im guessing if you have full week kids, they can figure it out also, because really they charge the govt by meals.
