Following the tragic bleacher collapse in Stoliner Bais Medrash several large chasidus have taken safety precautions. Two big weddings in Belz and Ger have been relocated to larger outdoor facilities. A public safety campaign was launched for shul safety.
Also no more traveling in cars, no more swimming pools, the list goes on......
ReplyDeleteC'MON
When you remove all the screws from your car and hold it together with twine, then yes, no more traveling in your car.
DeleteYou are making my point. Bleachers have been in use for 50 + years without any problems. So why stop using them due to one unfortunate incident?
DeleteI agree, but the sign doesn't say to stop using bleachers. It says to stop using makeshift bleachers and such.
DeleteTotally missed the boat!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm the bleachers were not held together with twine. Get your facts straight
ReplyDeleteThey were held together with wire, not much better.
DeleteThat said, just because of one incident of stupid, does not mean we need to stop doing it altogether. We just need to stop doing it stupidly
