  2. Can someone please explain to me why a person with anti bodies should vaccinate if the CDC says that we would most probably need booster shots? So far I don't know of anyone with anti bodies that ever had covid again.
And even if you will say that you know of that one person, it certainly is not more than 1%? which makes anti bodies more than 99% effective.
More effective than the vaccine. So why vaccinate?

    1. Because there is no reason to believe that the antibodies will last forever. If another wave comes, when the antibodies wane off, Lakewood will be the epicenter of the problem. Do we need that? Are not hated enough? Shouldn't we be desperate to do anything to remove the spotlight from our town? If you are willing to register to vote so that one person should be kept out of jail, we should be willing to get vaccinated in order that future hatred will be mitigated.
Remember, when the wave of arrests happened, they were a product of years of pent up hatred and anger. I am not saying we are to blame for it, but whatever we can do to lower the fire, we should.

    2. What about doing things to lessen the hatred from *within*?

    3. You didn't answer my question.
Does the vaccine last forever? The CDC says most probably not.
So far the anti bodies do.
      So why vaccinate?

    4. Personally am familiar with more than one with antibodies who got the virus again

    5. Wow, you really don't know how to calculate antibody efficacy. And yet your ignorance stands little chance of derailing your pontification.

    6. Antibodies don't last. Third wave isn't here yet though cv

    7. The CDC claims that it provides a better protection, though that claim goes against everything we know historically about viruses.

  3. I don’t trust anything the CDC says anyway. They’ve proven since the beginning of the pandemic that they are playing politics and this has nothing to do with science. Btw I’m not an anti vaxxer, my kids are all up to date with their shots.

    2. Not surprised that most of our community distrust the efficacy of the Vaccine because we always think we know better than the whole wrold.
