  1. Why is there no mention of the fact that Lubavitcher propaganda was inserted into all publications, including Lakewood Voice?!?!

    1. The voice is not representative of anyone in lakewood but its editorial board lots of bnei torah do not allow it into their homes together with other weekly papers. Use it to wrap fish

    2. What propaganda

    3. Maybe there was no mention because nobody cares too much. If you want to read it, you read it. If you don't want to read it, you don't read it. Just like any of the inserts with our publications. It's just not a big deal.

    4. I was very upset with the Lag Ba'omer parade in Lakewood.
But this 'propaganda' was not a problem. They can disseminate his opinion like anyone else's. As long as they don't A. target children, or B. hide their true intentions.

  3. What kind of construction is the water company doing on brook road?

    1. There's a big school and simcha hall coming to the busy Ridge/Brook intersection. Maybe the Twp is expanding the roadway to fit the many hundreds of new vehicles that will use those roads? It would be the sensible thing to do, right?

Except that that stretch of brook road cannot be widened, there isn't even a shoulder there

    1. If the road cannot be widened, that will make the situation much worse. Where are all the vehicles supposed to go?? Does the developer think it’s fair to make everyone sit in traffic for hours just because he could get himself a good deal on a specific property?

    2. Just send them all to Westgate

    3. Yes, if they can make a few million they don’t care about the traffic because they don’t live in that area or even in Lakewood.

    4. The developers are out for themselves, just like any businessman and I don’t really have beef with them. It’s the (ridiculous) township that doesn’t care about the people who elected them and are paying their salaries. WHY DO THEY APPROVE PROJECTS THAT PUT A STRAIN ON THD INFRASTRUCTURE? Oh, yeah, they had their engineer do a “traffic study” and he determined that, nah, traffic won’t be affected.
Ridiculous. Please stop voting for these people. PLEASE.

  6. Was there room to learn shavuos night in WG? I heard the kids waited up all night by the window waiting for their fathers to come home from shul.

    2. Anon 5:17 - it seems that you are learning Daf Yomi. What kind of Ben Torah are you? Your children may be expelled from school.

  7. The “developers” and “the township” are the same people so it’s no surprise they approve everything they do.

What would be if a developer built a new Lubavitch shul in WG without traffic infrastructure?

    1. KW never stopped anyone opening a shul, nor did they chase out people who did open shuls there. Get your facts straight.
