I wonder if there is a 'Shabbos' issue with this temporary concoction sitting on top of a mechitza - dividing the outside (karmelis maybe) and one's porch (Reshus Hayachid) - and placing and/or removing items from the Shtender top which seems to protrude partially over the railing.
